The Global Warming Comedy TBS Thingy is now on AOL and aired on TBS. It is a comedy festival against global warming. It features Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, Larry David, The Blue Man Group, Triumph, and more. When I saw the early ads for this I had no idea it was about global warming. Also, The Blue Man Group skit is kinda freaky.

I only saw about a minute of this and it just so happened to be when a SpongeBob short was on. Mr. Krabs was doing something to case global warming I think.
For a minute there I was totally freeked out seeing Spongebob on TBS. But that's all I watched.
I may have to record it if it's on again.

Yeah, I really liked this 2 hour thing. Some of the comedians were boring and I had to flip the channel but for the spongebob cartoon, blue man group and a few celebs this show was good. I don't see the comedians using that much of the theme in thier acts but it was still funny.

I would hope they don't make any other show like these again...they really didn't do that great of a job IMO.

I saw some of it. Some of it was good. Well duh, they had some good comedians. But I do think that now I know how people feel when they go to some sort of pageant at a Christian school. There's a bit of an awkward vibe about the whole thing.

One thing I actually did think was truly awful was the segment with Faith Hill promoting a global-warming-themed Christmas album. That was really about as heavy-handed as it gets.

Also, there was Spongebob!?! I did not know. I watched a little on AOL, but I only watched snippets. There was no Spongebob snippet available, so I guess I will have to choose the "view all" option.
