Hard to say...by the time I finish typing this reply, all of the choices you listed will be out of date.

Leap Larry has a point...those companies are churning out systems faster than you can say "Dreamcast demise!"

But I'd say Gamecube. It has some nice games, such as SONIC ADVENTURE 2 and LUIGI'S MANSION. They look cool, and I've been a closet Nintendo fan. :o

Well my poor DC is going away, but if I had to say any of them that would still be it.

The PS2 would probably come next, cuz it's finally picking up on the good games.

X-Box and GC are close, I still can't descide which one I like best.

I've never really been much of a handheld person.

Hey, I was just about to make the same poll, but you beat me to it. GAMECUBE all the way!

I'd say Gamecube, PS2 would be second though.

Gamecube....if I said anything else, my guy friends would kill me ;) I guess hanging out with them I've become a fan of Nintendo.

I played PS1 at a friend's house (and all of her friend are PlayStation fans) and I did not like it. My biggest gripe was the controller. It has shapes instead of letters. Her friend tried to teach me how to do something in a fighting game, and those shapes kept confusing me. I could not get it. (Then, I promptly kicked his butt by ignoring shapes and just pressing the buttons randomly.)

In conclusion...Nintendo!!!

I was at my cousin's house during a X-Mas party and me and my cousin were playing his PS2. We were playing Tony Hawk 2 and WWF Smackdown. Each game, my cousin beat me. I am thinking of getting PS1 however. Mostly because of Smackdown 1 & 2.

PS2 - it can play my PS games, as well as the new PS2 games, and it lets me play CDs and acts as my main DVD player. And its got the most interesting games to me.

Urgh.... I can't decide between the GC and its great launch line-up or the PS2 with its assortment of good games. I'm leaning toward the GC, since next year's line-up, assuming things don't get delayed, looks a fair bit better than the PS2. But we'll see...

Well I voted PS2, because that's the only one of the choices I have at the moment. But I plan on picking up either a GBA or Gamecube with in the next few months. Probably the GBA first (because of the larger available library) then the Cube.

But between the library of PSX games I have to finish (probably one of my favorite features of the PS2) the growing library of good PS2 games, and the impressive lineup that's coming down for both the GBA and Cube... Well once I have them all I'll be one happy camper.

When Microsoft gives me a reason to buy the X-box (games that actually interest me and a price drop) then buy it I shall.

Same here. Since my brother and I must have around 60 or so PS games combined, it only made sense to get a Playstation 2. In addition to playing PS and PS2 games, it also is a DVD player like Clayface mentioned.

I'd say Gamecube but PS2 is a very close second due to Metal Gear Solid 2

When I look at Nintendo's line-up for 2002 (Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Eternal Darkness, and maybe Mario Kart if they get it together) I have to say hands down, GAMECUBE!
