Website Trouble - PLEASE READ!

Since AcmeCitys recently closed, so did three of my websites I was planning to update over the summer. These are THE GENE DEITCH PAGE, THE BART SIMPSON PAGE, and my TERRYTOONS VIDEO GUIDE. Luckily they are all saved on my computer. I think I may end up putting all of them on my Tripod account. Any ideas where I can move. Thanks.

BTW, I'm sorry I haven't been to this board too recently.

Offhand, you may want to try Geocities, or Homestead, or my new host, 100megsfree.com.

I moved my acmecity site to tripod (where the hidden gags site was already) and have been happy in both cases. I tried a geocities site but gave it up - I kept getting javascript errors and such. I know others have been happy there so maybe it's just me... your mileage may vary... ;)

The only drawback with tripod is if you use frames, you have to use the pop-up window option for showing ads (otherwise it imbeds an ad in each frame). I think this is also true for the 100megsfree sites.

If I remember correctly Homestead doesn't allow ftp, which is an absolute must IMHO.
