Yes the lovely Russian pop pair is back,and this time their black ......er animated. Yes folks t.A.T.u has comeout with an anime called Paragate (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=3254). While I'm hoping it will be good but thinking it will not. I might give it a go if it comes to the states.

I'm not sure if that actually ever came together beyond a pilot. I think the duo fell apart before it could get off the ground.

I saw some stuff on another board saying they were promoting an album in England.

Well, still, I've never seen anything from the anime beyond the promo film, so I'm wondering if in the commotion that got dropped.

... but as long as they can pull those outfits they had at the VMAs a few years back...

Their new album was released just last month. Oh and Knux yes, they're both over 19

Especialy the synthasized beat that happens during the breaks in the song

I had never even really heard of t.A.T.u. until just yesterday when I happened to hear that "running through my head" song on an internet radio station, and absolutely fell in love with it.

Then it dawned on me that this was that group that they announced the anime for sometime back, and everyone was all up in flames about it, criticizing the duo. I gotta' say, I don't see it - I loved that song and I gotta' hear more. And an anime would rock! (cheesy pun intended)

What the heck are you talking about?! They just recently came out with a new album and it's been doing awesome! on the Euro charts! They just got rid of their manager and they are not on a hiatus anymore. Anyway, I got their new album and it's really good in my opinion.

Last thing I heard about Paragate was that it was on permanent hold since t.A.T.u had apparently broken up. If they do indeed have a new album coming out, maybe the movie might get finished. I'm sure if it ever gets to America, their voices will be dubbed by American actresses, as their command of the English language is roughly equivalent to that of Puffy AmiYumi.I've heard them speak, they're a little more clearer than Puffy AmiYumi

Yes, but before the anime could get together back in 2004, they ended up on haitus, which likely sunk the anime project. The people and studios who would have been involved have since moved on to other things, and probably leery of getting back into it again until the band can prove that they will stick around.
