Hey guys! New poem! Not named of course! :)

As I dive into the open waters
Engulfing my body
In a sea of darkness
The ripples spreading farther

I emerge, dripping
Shaking off these
Horrible thoughts
And useless feelings

I run, away from
My reality, my life
Reliving the haunting
Memories of the past

I live, because of you
Strengthening and holding
Me up, catching me
When I fall

Well that's it. It kind of ends there, but I might add on more later! Feedback is appreciated! Thanks everyone!

Oh, gorgeous imagery. It reminds me just a tad of Do As Infinity's "Under the Moon" (but in beautiful english wording!). Wonderful flow, too--I like the pauses within the sentences. Spectacular writing!! :anime:

Water sounds like a good metaphor, as to say washing one self into depression, and freeing oneself from it when coming out of it. Nice use of wording.

I love how well you tell a story threw your poem. You really can get a grasp what is happening by your use of deatails and your own emotions.

I like it! I wish there was more because you introduce a new idea in the 4th stanza. It feels more like it's going to continue into something rather than end there (although it could still end there and feel complete).
