I have a feeling Raven will be fighting the "Major Aquisition" they've been talking about lately, and Raven will get the win after the mystery girl cheap shots the mystery opponent.

With the tragic events of this morning, will TNA be the first to have a televised tribute to Eddie Guerrero, despite him never stepping foot in the hexagon? He was a major player in the pro wrestling world, after all...

I'm sure they'll make mention of it and several guys will be wearing black armbands, but TNA has no need to to a full on tribute show. And it's not really their place to do so either.

However, I wouldn't be surprised to see AJ Styles or someone break out a Frogsplash.

I think there should be a moment of silence. Eddie was a revolutionary wrestler. All of the wrestling world owes it to him.

Well yeah, I wasn't thinking a whole show centered around it, but I was thinking maybe a 10 bell salute or something classy like that in his honor. TNA'd be the first wrestling show to mention his death on TV.

TNA'd be the first wrestling show to mention his death on TV.Well that's because they're the first show to air since this morning. I feel like you're bringing it up like it'd be a coup and an accomplishment on TNA's part and that don't feel right. That's not what this is about.

Its more of a feeling of "WWE should be the ones to break the news to the television-watching public and whoever doesn't follow pro wrestling news on the internet, yet goes to/orders Genesis." Which I now realize is a kind of stupid and pointless feeling to have.

HAHAHA!!! Captain Charisma just graced my tv once again, daddio! :D

Not yet fond of adding "Cage" back to his name after so long, but who cares? It's Christian!!!

Do they honestly want us to believe that Christian would join Team Canada? No offense to them, but they're midcarders. He's being pushed as a main-eventer, so it'd make no sense to add him to a stable. For once, we need to see the Captain roll on his own, and as a face, no less.

HAHAHA!!! Captain Charisma just graced my tv once again, daddio! :DSo can TNA get away with calling him Captain Charisma then? I know WWE had some issues, but the official TNA recap calls him Captain Charisma at least once. I'd love it if they could.

He did trademark Captain Charisma so I gotta give that one to him

Yeah, he owns the rights to Captain Charisma. Of all the former WWE employees who've suffered from the name game, glad to see Christian still gets to retain the character that he put so much work into.

And man, when Christian tossed aside the Team Canada T-Shirt, that was a moment. Christian is now poised to be the top face in TNA. This is a total 180 from his WWE days.

I've never actually ordered a TNA PPV before, not since the days of weekly PPV anyway. But tonight my friend and I were down about Eddie. We wanted to see the debut of Christian, see what they had to say about Eddie, and just be entertained in general.

We were VERY entertained. It was a solid show from top-to-bottom. Well, save for the Hardy-Pouncy match. But I know some of y'all are fans of one or both, so cheers for you.

They actually made me care about a main event I expected to zone out on. Going completely hardcore just made it a fun match.

Another great PPV from TNA, I really thought they handled the whole Eddie situation well, by not mentioning it throughout the show, but allowing those wrestlers who were friends with him come out and say there thing. It was also good to see those who knew Eddie wear black arm bands in his honor.

Christian Cage's debut was great. He cut a great promo and made an impact tonight at Genesis.

All that matches were pretty good, I enjoyed seeing Nigel McGuiness make his TNA debut in the pre show.

Match of the night is between Styles vs. Williams and Elimination X for me, but they were both very good so it's hard to pick a favorite.

All that matches were pretty good, I enjoyed seeing Nigel McGuiness make his TNA debut in the pre show. Jobbing to Shark Boy isn't a very impressive debut. I've never even heard his name before but from that I'd have to say TNA doesn't exactly have big plans for him. I've watched TNA almost every week they've been on TV (FSN and Spike) and that was probably the second match Shark Boy's ever won.

Argh. I didn't order the show, but from reading TNA's results it looks like they just completely tossed Rhino aside for Christian. I love Christian, but I'll say it again: from what they've done to Rhino since Bound For Glory I'd rather have seen Nash v. Jarrett.

I never said that I was impressed in the match, Nigel McGuiness is a top class wrestler and I just simply enjoyed seeing him in TNA. Sharkboy isn't a bad wrestler either and I don't think a loss to him is really considered jobbing.

I wasn't implying anything about your comments. I was just commenting that Shark Boy is the closest thing TNA has to a guy like Funaki and bringing in a new guy, whoever he may be, just to lose to him isn't the greatest way to debut.

Glad that they didn't put Christian as a heel. He deserves being a face, considering for the most part, he was a heel at the WWE, and he's quite popular. he was going to get a positive reacation even he was to be a heel.

The main events were said to be great. And I'm really looking forward to Joe/Styles. Perhaps you can add Daniels in the mix and have a triple-threat match.

Another great show, but I have one thing to say: Get rid of A-1 now! I mean, come on! He doesn't do anything! Listen to Don West despcribe Team Canada. You'll see what I mean.

Bobby Roode - Future star in the making.
Petey Williams - Former X-division champion and [insert random "Canadian Destroyer" praise here].
Eric Young - He's a "great tag team wrestler."
A-1 - "He's a big man, that A-1 is." (And that's a direct quote.)

Hopefully he's just filler until Johnny Devine comes back from injury. Yeah, we'll say that.

I didn't see the PPV at all but this weekend I was staying at the Double Tree Hotels in Orlando, Florida and guess what, TNA stars were staying there! I got to meet Sabu, Ron Killings (I called him K-Kwick because I haven't watched much TNA), and Jeff Jarrett. Jeff was willing to talk from the distance but it appeared he really wanted to just get to his room, which is understandable. Sabu and Ron were really nice guys and gave me an autograph. I believe I saw Justin Credible (PJ Pollaco or whatever his new name is?) but when I said hi, he just said "Sorry man, not today, it was a rough day." I also passed by Mike Tenay, but didn't realize it was him until later. :D

It was pretty crazy, I forgot TNA was having a PPV this weekend, and it happened to be right where I was staying! :) Only problem is I didn't have a camera at the moment they were around. :(

Sorry if it's a little unrelated to the topic, but I just felt like mentioning that crazy coincidence. Other than that from what I have read, congragulations to Christian Cage's popular debut. I'll admit, I was never a huge fan but he always was over with the crowd and TNA seems to be pushing him to stardom right away and adding "Cage" to Christian makes his name a whole lot better. I personally thought that only using "Christian" as a wrestler name was kind of dull. I mean really, it's like using the name "Ashley", "Bob", or "Joe" (and don't get me started on that old crappy gimmick "Just Joe".)

TNA seems to be putting forth their best efforts into being a WWE competitor which I applaud them for. Honestly, I hope Spike TV does help them advance and someday we will see "The Monday Night Wars Part Deux" or something like that.

A triple threat for the X-Title, with Daniels winning would been killer, though.

I finally got around to watching the Victory Road '04 DVD tonight. Upon realizing it was the November PPV last year, anyone know what's up with the name change? Arbitrary nonsense, or maybe some sort of copyright problem?

December 2004 was Turning Point, and so is this years. Obviously this is only the beginning of year two for monthly PPVs, so who knows.

From my understanding; Turning Point, Final Resolution, Against All Odds, Lockdown, No Surrender, Unbreakable, Sacrifice, Slamiversary, and Bound for Glory will all stick as PPV names,
