What shows do you own the complete series of? Whether it be via DVD, VHS (purchased or taped off TV), etc.

I don't own any, but I wish I did...mainly anything from the '90s, as that was my favorite decade for animation.

I've only downloaded the rest of the series of Inuyasha.

I started almost 2 years ago; at episode 40 (This was right before Adult Swim started airing the episodes after "The man who fell in love with Kagome", or so, then I DLed all the way up to 167...I really wanted to skip most of the 130s, and Shippou episodes, but my sister didn't want to...

I have dial-up, BTW.

Invasion America (taped all the episodes from The WB)
Cowboy Bebop (all the episodes plus the movie on DVD)
Robotech: Macross and Masters
Gundam Wing (half the "uncut" episodes on DVD, the other half taped on VHS)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (all the episodes on DVD and the "movies" on VHS)
Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 (all the episodes, the A.D. Police tie-in series)

Todd McFarlane's Spawn (all three seasons of six episodes on video, one season on DVD)
Clerks: The Animated Series (the two that aired on ABC on tape and the DVD collection of the entire series)

Wow, that's a pretty lackluster list, ain't it? Probably got a lot more random episodes on tape, including those one-time airings, like that Flintstones special that had Fred and Wilma adopting a little boy, that Roundhouse Christmas special, a few episodes of Calamity Jane, and all sorts of bric-a-brac.

Are we talking animated series or live-action also? Plus, I have a lot of series collected that haven't been finished because there are no more releases, like Exo-Squad, Galaxy Rangers, and Men In Black.

Galaxy Rangers is one of my all-time favorite shows. I have that in four different formats (VHS, VCD, LD, and DVD) now because not everything has come out in just one format.

I've also got most of the DCAU, X-Men TAS, and X-Men Evo stuff but none of the shows have been released completely.

Animated shows I have:

Big O (both seasons)
Captain America (1960's)
Clerks
Cowboy Bebop
Escaflowne
Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex
Gundam: War in the Pocket
Invader Zim
Licensed by Royalty
Mortal Kombat Defenders of the Realm
Outlaw Star
Roughnecks aka Starship Troopers
Spawn
Spider-man (MTV)
Superman (Max Fleischer)
Witch Hunter Robin

Live-action shows I have:

Adventures of Captain Marvel
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
Eerie, Indiana
Flash Gordon (Buster Crabbe)
The Greatest American Hero (all three season)
Mutant X (all three seasons)
Timecop (recorded from TV)

Invasion America (taped all the episodes from The WB)
I tried to record that one myself. But as I recall, the show was pre-empted part way through and they never re-ran it.

:gir:

I'm curious -- how many people bought complete series that have had already seen versus shows that they had never seen or had only seen a few episodes? All of the sets I have complete are shows that I had never seen or only saw a few episodes before buying.

For example, I have thought about buying Trigun many times but since I've seen it completely on TV several times already, I haven't been in any hurry to buy it. Some of the DCAU stuff, like BTAS, I had seen probably half of the episodes and have bought everything released so far, partially to see the rest and partially to re-watch episodes I've seen before.
