How The Grinch Stole Christmas will be on tonight on TBS at 7:30(eastern)right before The Wizard of Oz. I am sure that most of you have seen the special, but for those who have not seen it or want to see it again here it is. It will have multiple airings in December on TBS, CN, and The WB, so no big deal if you miss it.

This is a Christmas classic. I've been watching it year after year for years. There's no getting over the fact.
Although I don't have TBS currently, I'm sure I'll find a way to watch it. I need to get it on DVD, so I can "preserve" it and watch it every season. Though, I wonder when they'll discount the DVD. Every year, it's the same price.

I love The Grinch and all, but... isn't it way, WAY too early for Christmas specials? It's even halfway through December yet. I'll catch it in December, like I always do.
Oh, and speaking of Christmas specials, does anyone know when Rudolph airs on CBS this year?
It's always the same price because they know it's a staple to have in the holiday collection.
I'm quite partial to 'A Christmas Story' myself-- I'm fine with watching the 24 hour marathon, hehe, But I enjoy the grinch too.
I do remember seeing much more the the Charlie Brown christmas special when I was younger though.

I agree with "Grinch" airing way too early, but hey, it was a huge nostalgia for me. When I was in 9th grade, in the chorus, we did the "You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch", and I did the solos (the one with stink stank stunk, and the triple decker something sandwich with arsenic sauce). I didn't watch it though because of the "too early" belief, I'll just wait till Cartoon Network starts airing it.

I agree with everyone, The Grinch is in indeed a true classic!:D I still rememeber it originally on CBS! Those were the good old days.:) Even though I could recite the entire cartoon today, I'll never get enough of it!
You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch!
You have termites in your smile!
You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile, Mr. Grinch!
Given the choice between the two of you, I'd pick the uh...seasick crocodile!
I'll never get enough!:D

I like the Grinch too, but agree with the others above that it's *way* too early to start airing Christmas specials--- it isn't even Thanksgiving weekend (the now-"official" start of the Christmas holiday season) yet. <Curmudgeon-y grumbling...>
Hmm... maybe that fanfiction story I wrote a few years back about Warner Bros. plotting to get rid of Thanksgiving entirely by running heavy doses of Christmas specials, holiday related store promotions, etc. all through November isn't too far off... ;-p

I love The Grinch. Although I agree with everyone that this is extremely early, I watched it again anyway. No matter how much that I watch this it is still one of my favorite Christmas specials. The ending is great!

Think it's too early in the season for Grinch?
The Music Choice Digital Music channel's been playing Christmas music since November 1.

um i think cbs starts showing the christmas specials two weeks before christmas so they can get them all aired before christmas day
but if im wrong someone correct me ok
whats teh point of having it on DVD if you know every season they are always going to air it anyway? lol ;)
it's good and i've watched it a lot of christmas as i was little but i don't think at least me personally to be able to watch it every year. Only as a little kid.

whats teh point of having it on DVD if you know every season they are always going to air it anyway? lol ;) Why, for the additional Horton Hears a Who, of course.
