I loved the Panic In The Sky storyline that appeared in the Superman comics a while back. It showed each character in spades. I think the storyline should be adapted for Justice League, maybe as the opener for the second season. It would be an awesome way to reintroduce Braniac and get some good characterization. By the way, does anybody know what happened to Redclaw from Batman TAS?

Panic in the sky would be a great story to show in JL. Isn't Mongul involved in that story as well? Red Claw was only shown in two storylines in BTAS.

Mongul is only referred to in the storyline as Braniac had now taken control of Warworld with Maxima at her side. We could even add some comic relief moments to a Jl adaptation if Maxima tried to get the male JLers to be her mate.

Uhh...not that anybody cares or anything but "Panic In The Sky" was also an episode of "The Adventures Of Superman" TV Show from the '50s. The episode was remade into a "Superboy" episode, and then remade again into an episode of "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman." Thought you might like to know.

I know the episode that your're talking about (astroid or sumpthin headed towards Earth.), but this one's about Braniac taking over Warworld and attacking earth.

I could really dig an appearance by Maxima, but only if they redesign her (she wasn't nearly as cool as she is in the comics). Actually, her original motivation was to breed with Superman in order to create offspring that could aid in her conflict with Mongul's empire, so it could work.

Maxima's design in S:TAS was so-so. I could stand for a re-design... :)

Her personality could use a redesign as well...she came off as really whiny and obnoxious.

I personally really liked Maxima's character in Superman it was a really fun episode. She was annoying but they were doing it on purpose. Unlike Max on BB who's just annoying.

Well, yeah, in the royal aspect of her personality I guess...
