Well, to complement the "Best of 2001" thread I just made, we GOTTA have a what's to come thread...

Soooo... what's everyone looking forward to in 2002... can be personal or inpersonal.... =)

Going Full Time at Work
Getting my own Apartment

Paying off my Student Loans and my Computer (hopefully I can get that both taken care of this year... Computer definitely... the student loans... maaaaybe)

...and I'm sure, given time to think about it, I'll have more to add to the list... well, what about everyone else?

In 2002, I plan to:
*sell my first manuscript and use the money/celebrity from it towards rebuilding my life/paying my debts
*learn to forgive my enemies (mustn't crush...mustn't crush...mustn't crush....) ;)
*travel. I'd like to attend a writer's conference (but due to recent events I'm leery of planes)
*sign on more customers for Melaleuca (which requires money for advertising--see #1)
*rediscover love--be it rekindled with a former girlfriend or a new one

In 2002? I plan to be sane. *GASP!*

Don't worry, folks, I wasn't serious. "The insane little girls today are the insane old ladies of tomorrow!" :D

-I would like to, in 2002, be in high school. Preferably not the high school in Massachusetts where I would always be home at about 7:45 PM....

-In 2002, I want to look back at my pitiful attempts in stories or fanfiction and laugh. If I cry, I'll know that my writing skills haven't gotten any better.

-I plan to.......be 14. {shrugs} So Nightflower, you think *you're* the baby of the board? :p

-Go to Israel. My sister's there, and gosh darn it, if I don't find out how she is I'm gonna explode!!

-Perhaps.......make some *real* friends? (I'm referring to better real-life friends that I have now.....not that this *isn't* real life.........aw dang it, I'm cofusing myself again. ;) )

-A! & PatB coming back? Nah.....it's too much to hope for. :(

-Actually starting to sound *good* on the violin

-Play ragtime! :D

In the Year 2002, fools will come to my house to ask me to stop pittying them, but I will not be home... it will be rainining and they will have no umbrellas, so I will still pitty them...

-A job
-A girlfriend
-No more fighting on any message board I'm a part (I've had several small fights on 80sxchange this year regarding "Smallville", an ex-friend and what rap music is, while here at Toonzone, I had a tremendous fight with well over 20 people regarding Eminem. These people are usually my friends, but they wanted me dead in this argument and they all wanted to be the first to rip apart my corpse.) Hopefully, no more fights on here or at 80sxchange...or in my personal life, either. I had lots of lung-bustingly verbally violent fights with my mom, my brother, kids at college during my brief time there, several friends, many enemies, people at the library, one person who never wants anything to do with me again...so many fights, day after day. Is it too much to ask for personal peace?

Sincerely,

John "Captain Caps" Kilduff

As it goes, my year has ended so badly I just feel anxiety whether this will follow through in the new...

I'm not much of a person who believes in grouping life into years. I'm in a very bad patch at the moment and hopefully it will pan out into something better.

Spider Man is a trivial, but worthwhile destraction I do hope. As will the second Lord Of The Rings. Hopefully my pheonix model from Japan will arrive early January so that's something to look forward to.

Just grin and bear it and hope that time will bring me something more fruitful than it is at present.

I'm looking forward to getting a new job and getting the heck out of small-town Arkansas. As long as that happens, everything else will be peachy with me...

2002 will be a whole new start for me,

I'm going to be in college , Be living in New York ,
far away from home .
Like oh my god , I'm going to be a new yorker and like that's majorly Kewl!

I hope it will be year for spiritual growth and mental growth also.

It's also scares me a bit, to be on my own and I have to carry great responsibilities
well , that's how things are as you become a Young adult.
How time files,

Have a great 2002 everyone!
