Just curious, since Mugen & Jin are your favorite characters in Samurai Champloo, do you guys like Fuu as your favorite character whether she's the biggest annoying whiny witch in the series.

To me, she's kind of my favorite character whether she's a total witch who's annoying,whiny,doing diary insults on the guys,being a jerk when she's jealous of Jin's girlfriend,but deep down she does have heart for the two rivals.

Actually, Fuu IS my favorite character in Champloo. I get into her personality more than the two male leads (though to be fair, they have their moments as well).

I found them all rather annoying, honestly. Mugen's and Jin's whole warrior mentality seems tedious and idiotic to me and Fuu's limited usefulness as anything but a plot device and vestigial capability to actually contribute annoys me, especially since I can't shake a sense of connection to Fay, a much stronger and more capable charcter. Much the way Mugen, and not just because of the voice and design smilarities, seems like Spike with all of the worthwhile traits sapped from him.

2nd half, when the characters are fleshed out a bit, Mugen comes off a bit less annoying. Fuu becomes downright sympathizable.

I like them all for the most part.
