...angered you. Stuff like about to beat a boss but then a glitch ruins it for you and you have to start all over, or your baby brother coming out of nowhere trying to be cute and shutting the game off. Can't recall if we had this already, so I'll start:
- Resident Evil 4. I kick the door open and at first it looks quiet and clear, so I kind of...don't pay attention given the sandwich is tasting damn good. Using my thumb off to the side, I make Leon walk right over, and as I look up the chainsaw comes out of nowhere and decapitates me. The eerie screen with the music come son all, bloody red. I was surprised first, given that's the first time you can be beheaded like that, and then frown. Wasn't that big a deal really, just a dumb way to get killed. Guess I was more dissapointe din my self for not doing the smart thing, and pause.
-Any RPGs that have you fighting the last boss on your last life and stuff, and then after an hour of back-and-forth spells, you think you beat him, but wait! Surprise! He has another form!
- When the cpu cheats and as you're about to beat them, pulls out some cheap comeback. Completely bogus how you get bumrushed by all kinds of things you didn't know were possible.
- End of Halo 2
- My damn data on some Pokemon game(forget which one eactly) getting deleted after I had leveled all them damn creatures up, and was wrecking on people at the schoolyard. No way was I gonna spend an hour searching for that damn mouse in the forest again, only to have to spend a day getting it strong enough to not be a laughing stock.
- Inputing that "Pedestrains go crazy" code along with the "Pedestrians have weapons" one on GTA 3, and then forgetting somehow, save it.
- Burnout/Mario Kart, when you're smoking everyone and then you crash and all of a sudden the blue car/Bowser brushes you to the side and you realize you are in like 5th place.
- Playing Madden. It's fourth and I need this touchdown pass. I hike the ball and as I'm about to go for it, a towel come sout of nowhere and smacks the back of my head, eventually wrapping around to the front. I was sacked and lost the game because of that. Thanks mom.
- Being embarrased at Peter Piper Pizza, as some kid whooped my ass in Marvel vs. Capcom.
- Trying to be careful at high points in SM64, and then hearing Mario's damn wailing as he falls to his death. And being close to my destination. Hell, I hate when that happens in any game. You can be SO close too.
Eh, those are actually pretty light when I think about it, but there's more. How about you?

Two that I can think of off the top of my head:
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle: Sticky A button due to a crappy port of the Dreamcast version made it very annoying when he did his dash attack when you didn't want to. Especially annoying against the Egg Golem.
Skies of Arcadia: The last boss was a total let-down. Although the plot was totally solid and you could end saying you've played one of the best games of your life, it was just too damn easy. You can totally whoop Ramirez's butt with minimal effort.

- My cousin's child erased my Gran Turismo 3 file while we were on vacation. Said child did the same to my Pokemon games.
- Having my memory card formatted by the Viewtiful Joe 2 demo.
- The fact that other racers in Mario Kart 64 on the hardest difficulty can maintain their lead when you use a mushroom right behind them.
- When I found out that you have to beat Ghouls'n Ghosts twice before reaching the last boss.
- Soldiers having the amazing ability to shoot through walls and each other in certain locations in Golden Eye 64
- Blitzball.

~Devil May Cry- Never getting to save after I kill Mundus because the disc would eff up during the final credits to such a degree that I just shut off the PS2 in anger (that's what I get for buying a used game, huh? )
~Devil May Cry 3- The end of the second stage. It was at that point, fighting the Grim Reaper, when VashGal said to herself "Holy hell, this game is going to hand my ass to me."
~Devil May Cry 3- When I first confronted Vergil, and he started teleporting behind me and killing me to death. Teleporting = le cheating.
~Devil May Cry 3- The vampire lady boss. Oh. My. Heck she pissed me off.
~Devil May Cry 3 (dude, I should start buying more games)- Trying to kill over 100 demons during the credits to unlock that stupid secret video. Not only did it make me super mad (I had to replay the final level so many effing times!), but my right arm also went NUMB from all the button smashing. o_0 Damn these weak girl hands of mine.
~We Love Katamari- The Cowbear stage. ><

-Defeating King K. Rool only to suddenly find out there's a Round 2 after the credits.
-Continuously dieing at the hands of Smithy in Mario RPG. I pretty much gave up on the game until years later when I went back and actually defeated him with ease.
-The memory on my Pokemon game being totally wiped out
-Any game where you have to share the number of continues with the second player, especially if they're really bad at the game.
-Someone accidentally using the police back up in Streets of Rage
-No rings during the final fight with Robotnik in Sonic 2
-Discovering my copy of Sonic CD freezes after collecting a time stone
-Saving over the wrong file
-The Dam level in TMNT. The first annoyance is that jump you have to perfectly make to get to the final door and trying to disarm the bombs while navigating through the killer seaweed. I can get through the seaweed just fine nowadays but that damn jump.
-The disappearing reappering blocks and spikes that are littered throughout the Mega Man games.
Chapter 7 in F-Zero GX. I think my brother broke several controlers before he beat it on NORMAL.
And let me say that 'Pink Spider' is NOT worth the effort.
Other moments? Hm.
Pretty much falling down from anywhere in any Tomb Raider game. I have VERY bad vertigo, so I literally scream along with Lara (and even Mario in Mario 64) as she's falling and I'm covering my eyes. And speaking of TR, Brother Obscura in 'Angel of Darkness'. Seriously, Boaz, Eckhardt and Karel are CAKEWALKS compared to Obscura. It took me 2 years before I finally got past it too.
Oh yeah, and the Walrus chase in 'Crash Twinsanity'. Unless you luck out and get the holy grail of glitches (the one where the Walrus doesn't chase you after a certain point), good luck trying to beat this with already frayed nerves.
And 'Metroid Prime 2: Echoes'. All of it. Yes, I'm serious about that too.

I remember being constantly frustrated over not being able to defeat Thunderbird in Zelda II. Especially that one time where I only needed to get JUST ONE MORE hit to defeat it, and I'm the one who gets defeated.
When I was playing the spaceship levels in StarTropics, that part was darn frustrating too.
Most of the bonus games in Donkey Kong 64 were also irritating.
Finally, there are the Battle Nexus games in TMNT2: Battle Nexus. I just decided I wouldn't even try to finish those.

TimeSplitters 2: the siberian dam, on hard. I had gotten all the way to the end, shot down the chopper with a smidgen of life left and just as I was about to reach the time portal a special forces agent (obscured from vision via time portal) unloads a tacticle 12 guage killing me instantly, I stopped playing for like, a month. Anyone else have trouble there?

-HumbleI STILL haven't caught that horrible monster, even after all the advice you gave me. T_T
Oh yeah, I just remembered another gaming moment that angered me- Being beat on Level 1 Easy mode by a kid who totally did not look old enough to drive on the Initial D arcade game. ><;

Dying by Dr. Mario's cheapo cape, DK's suicides, Jiggly Puff's *clang* attack or Yoshi's egg poops in Smash Bros. Melee. It's down right insulting sometimes.
The final lap in a Mario Kart 64 or Double Dash race, I'm in first and someone throws a spiney shell. (much more common in Double Dash)
Not being able to find the key you need in a dungeon on a Zelda game.
Doing great in a DDR session until you get "off center" and start missing tons of notes because you barely didn't touch the pad in the right place and in turn get a really lowsy rank.
Ah yes the dam jump. I HATE THAT LEVEL. But that game in general is so insanely hard it's rediculous. I've resolved that I will never beat TMNT 1 for the NES or much of my NES collection for that matter.
And loosing your data on an RPG is a tragedy in most cases including of course Pokemon.
Oh here's one for you. When everything is just fine and suddenly your disc or cartridge malfunctions and you loose everything. Or when your memory card doesn't save or some how gets erased.

Here's some for right now.
-After putting into so much effort to meticulously try and overpower the enemy, they manage to actually get one good shot at you or a weak ally killing him instantly in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
-"Jump! Jump! Slide! Slide!"
-Accidentally turning off Xenogears as it was saving and I was almost at the end of the game. I've yet to touch it once more.

Glitch in Labrynth Zone in Sonic the Hedgehog (Game Gear version) in Mega Collection Plus which will randomly send the game back to the SEGA start screen.
In the same game, either beating Robotnik and then being killed by part of whatever gimmick he was using or screwing up when jumping to the next platform to end the level.
Final boss for Sonic in Sonic Adventure. Assuming I can get up the damn tail, I miss the cockpit and ram the spikes at the end...
Big the Cat's fishing levels.
Emerald shards in Sonic Adventure 2 which decide to play keep away if you've found the other shards fairly quickly.
Original Sonic 3/Sonic and Knuckles wiping their inbuilt memories after a certain amount of time.
(I've played other games, but some of my Sonic woes spring quickest to mind)

Hmmmm.............Any level that I just cannot get past in a video game. That's what i'm gonna say. Also, whenever I start a new game on FF9,the disc freezes up in the opening sequence. Oh well, might as well get ANOTHER NEW FF9 disc set for Christmas!

Sengoku 3 - The last boss, Evil. He tends to do a ton of damage with every attack, he can summon enemies to attack you, he has a ton of life, and you can't combo him (as he deflects your second hit). And to top it off, once you get him down to his last life bar, he refills ATLEAST a good two life bars (and you can't stop him from doing it).
I guess SNK Boss Syndrome extends outside of their fighting games.

-- Knowing that SEGA has quit making the Dreamcast and also, games consoles all together
-- The Crash Bandicoot games that Vivendi/Universal made after Naughty Dog quit making them (apart from the fact that Crash Twinsanity totally rocked)
-- More or less, the PlayStation 3 controller (for now)
-- Knowing that they quit production of Sonic X-Treme, the game that not only could of gotten me to own a SEGA Saturn, but could of safed the Saturn just before it slipped away
and
-- Knowing that Atari are not even going to even bother to make more consoles and put their career in the hands of retro plug-in-and-play's
That's me done. :)

Anyone else have trouble there?Holy heck that level is hard. I had the same situation, I had finally beaten the copter, and out of nowhere, something shoots me and I die as I was running to the time portal, and I swear to god I was was in it before I was shot, but oh well. Haven't played the game on single player since, I want to unlock that level, but I can't.
Oh, and one night, I had played Pokemon for four hours straight. My Dragonite was now level 65, and it was two in the morning, so I went to the Pokemon Center. I heal my party, and then turn it off withou thinking. Realizing what I had just done, I turn the game back on and a see a level 10 Dratini. My cursing and yelling woke the house up.

Ninja Gaiden Black - Getting owned by bosses you never heard of in Mission Mode on normal.
Capcom vs. SNK 2 - Boss Challange Mode... Getting to the end using the cheapest tatics possilbe then getting my ass handed back to me by Shin Akuma/Ult. Rugal without landing a hit on them... God I hate you both Capcom and SNK!!!
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes - The Boostball Guardian angered me so much I quit playing it.

AW: DS: Surrounded HC. After Ring of Fire being an easy map made just for Grit. Bam comes the hardest mission in the game.
Oh, I have a couple more:
Crash Tag Team Racing - On the final lap in a clashed car, only to have your co-clasher seperate and take the first place win... on hard mode. =|
Super Mario Bros. 2/USA - The desert stage. ENOUGH SAID. D=

Chaper 2-4: Awakening
You have to treat multiple aneurisms in the large intestine. Just when you think you've got them all, suddenly 5 huge ones pop up and blow up in like a minute. And the Healing Touch doesn't help, either. I've gotten so annoyed I haven't played it in like a week.
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Special Cup & All Cup Tour in Mirror Mode
Every CPU is incredibly cheap, and all of the sudden heavy carts have the acceleration of lightweights. Still haven't beaten these two (I've gotten silver) and it's very frustrating.
Nintendogs
Still don't have the Jack Russel Terrier. Arg.
I'm sure there's plenty of others that I've repressed out of anger.

Well once when I was playing Mortal Kombat 3 on the SNES, I was fighting Shao Kahn with Jax. I only had to win one more round in order to win, I had more energy left than Shao Kahn did. However, the timer was counting down, and my game froze once the timer hit zero. Shucks.

When Lord of the Rings was "in" and "hip" I was playing Return of the King on my computer machine.
That Pellenor Fields level is hard. It starts off when you and a few guys from Rohan (more than a few, more like at least 15 on screen) kill a few orcs, but then you have to go through this annoying cycle of running up a ramp, killing an oliphaunt, running across the field, up another ramp, then having to fight the Witch King. Lather, rinse, repeat, all the while where you are slowly being whittled down by arrows from oliphaunt archers, orc attacks when you're going through the field, and when one, just one, orc bastard attacks you while you're killing the Witch King.
Now, when I had finally beaten it, I relaxed and watched the cutscene. I barely won, with just a trickle of health left.
Suddenly, the cutscene gets all purple-hazy, like when you die, and I have to play the level again.

I don't have many. No matter how hard a game may be, it's very rare that it will really frustrate me. Bad gaming single player moments that I rememebr quite unfondly:
-DKC and that level in the last level with all the tires and floating platforms. I think it was the last or second to last level in the game. I HATED that level with a passion. Took me FOREVER to beat it.
-As somebody has already mentioned, Round 2 with King K. Rool at the end of DKC. VERY cruel.

You have to treat multiple aneurisms in the large intestine. Just when you think you've got them all, suddenly 5 huge ones pop up and blow up in like a minute. And the Healing Touch doesn't help, either. I've gotten so annoyed I haven't played it in like a week.
Oh yeah, that frustrated the hell out of me, until I kinda figured out the problem.
As soon as the 5 appear, inject and cut the two nearest aneurisms, but don't cut them out yet. Inject a lot of the green stuff quickly so that when the three bust, you won't fail. Use the Healing Touch to drain out the blood and suture the veins and then take care of the other two.
If that frustrates you, wait till you get to 2-9.
Things that almost put my controller in the wall:
- Sonic Adventure: Big's fishing levels. All that just to catch a damn frog.
- Sonic Adventure 2: The second to the last boss. Everytime I grinded I somehow fell into the water. I have terrible aim and I keep hitting the tail or that monster. In short, took me about 4 hours just to beat it.
- DDREX2 (DMM): I forgot which course, but Boom Boom Dollar screwed me to no end. I even failed on the last set. 300 combo and clear that my ass. Also included: I Will Survive [no stepping on down arrows, 82 tries], I-forgot-which-mission-but-it-took-me-32-tries
- Like tigerrunner, Trama Center.
- Kenpachi Mishima.
- Onslaught from Marvel vs. Capcom. It's one thing to be the biggest-frickin-boss ever (Or is that Apocalypse?), but when you have two forms and then a major cheap-ass. The first form you basically get beam'd to death, unless you have a projectile super of your own and attack from behind. The second form you have the oh-shizz-it's-the-beams-of-death. What's worse is that you have lost your partner, the both of them have low health, and no way to reach up to the head of the damn thing. I've only managed to beat it twice with Chun-Li and Spiderman. :(
- Demon Hyo from Project Justice. I've got my ass owned so many times. Demon + Two Katanas + Speed + Cheapness basically.
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Well, this was due to not knowing what the hell I was doing; Tanker Chapter where you had to sneak just to get to Dolph and RAY and snap pictures. And the shocking conclusion after that [I didn't play MGS1 so I didn't get the Liquid-taking-over-Ocelot until wayyy later].
Jump! Jump! Slide! Slide!"
Oh, don't get me started on that...

Loz: Ocarina of Time: I was approximately 60% complete with the game. One day while playing, I was forced to save and get off so I could go to school (nothing like squeezin in some gamin b4 school!). Well, i left the cartridge in the system (as I did with anyother game i last played). During the day we apparently had a power surge and my dad (who was home sick) said the power went out. When I came home an learned of this "surge" I powered up my N64 to discover that my LoZ Save had been WIPED OUT! After that, I never played it for a year. Then, 1 yr later, i fired it up, and my save game was back! But i realized it would be there one time and not be there the next. Finally, six years, later (i'd moved away from my old house), i fired it up and the save game actually stayed there! Weird.
Secondly, in MGS 3 I was fighting the one boss, the old-geezer sniper, and I had my thermal goggles on to track his footprints. Well, w/ the goggles on and running from his shots, it's hard to see objects like trees and stuff and Snake would run a few steps then stop and press against something, causing him to be an easy target. After a while, I started yelling at him. I went on to finish the fight about 46 mins after it started.
Resident Evil 2: Was extremely low on health and wasn't sure were to go (had no herbs either). I entered a small room and opened the door at the opposite end only to get jumped by several zombies and eaten. I felt stupid afterwards.
Half-Life: Several "jumps" were unsuccessful after several attempts. I hated those parts.
Devil May Cry: You go so far only to discover that you have to run all the way back to the beginning of the game b4 the timer runs out. Dante was running into every object he could find. I still made it out in time though.
I'll think of some more later.
