I've heard talk that there may be a Superman DTV after the three new Batman ones are produced. I personally would like to see Braniac as the villain with a Panic in the Sky type storyline.

Where did you hear this? I may have to pursue this and see what I can dig up. But the possiblities of a Superman DTV is definatly an awesome idea. As a huge fan (and apparently one of the few) of STAS - I wanna see more!

One of the few??? Why in the world would somebody not like that great series?

The epic STAS eps were great! I'd love to see what they could do on a DTV.

I'd certainly be game for that too, though I'd be genuinely surprised if WB did one. They never really seemed to bond to that series like they did with Batman...

They could finally bring back Tim Daly and Dana Delaney.

Yow! I hope that's not true. I love the show! Granted, it didn't always reach the level of B:TAS, but then again, how many shows are gonna top that one?

It had top-notch voice acting, great DCU guest stars (the Green Lantern one is my favorite episode), and actual funny dialogue. And the Apokolips episodes stack up against the best of the Batman show.

I was just checking up on my source for the information about the Superman DTV and he told me that he was kind of mistaken. Superman was actually being considered to appear in the team up dtv which is one of the 3 promised new Batman ones.

Ah...that matches with my info -- *phew* :)

Apparently, STAS isn't really that popular. I've done a bit of research on this and went to alot of message boards and emailed alot of people and STAS isn't that popular. I had to do a project for my Jopurnalism class between a popular and unpopular series and (regretably) STAS fit into that mold. But I'm a hardcore STAS fan. Superman is a beautiful character and STAS did something the comics could never do: give him a rogue's gallery.

i always loved stas (not as much as batman, but hey, bats is a hard act to follow). i think the series was awesome. the best dtv stas would be a follow up to legacy. that would rock. but alas, that wont happen. oh well.

btw, i just got the lois four pack for christmas, so thats cool, even though the lois figure could be better and i hate the superman hands. oh well. peace.

I loved STAS. It was a great cartoon that got me into liking Superman character again. And I too agree that the cartoon gave him a rogues gallery. It also gave Superman a personality. I'm also a proud owner of the new Superman 4 pack with Lois. The Brainiac that comes with it looks more like the animated version then the first one that came out.

The Braniac with the STAS 4 pack is the exact same Braniac that came out years ago for STAS the only difference is the paint job. The new one look sloppier in my opinion. I have the same 4 pack but I made some customs of Lex, Lois and Superman. Its really easy if anyone cares to try. I swapped Lois' head with a Supergirl head redid the hair slightly and repainted her accurately. I put Lex's head on a two face body. My Superman has a head that actually looks like the show. You can get it from a Power Swing Superman or a Tornado Force Superman. Anywho, if anyone wants more info just check out www.ironcowprod.com that's where I can all my info.

If anybody didn't like STAS, name one Superman series that was better? I thought so.

Wow, I never imagined STAS was unpopular. I figured it wasnt as popular as BTAS, but I always thought it was well-liked.

The guy who makes those custom figures on Iron Cow should be given a job at Hasbro/Kenner. His figures are excellent.

I loved S:TAS! I also never would have guessed that it was unpopular. I certainly never wanted to miss an episode. A DTV follow-up to Legacy would have been so very incredibly cool but, alas, any hope of that has been left up to the fanfiction writers. *sigh*

I think the votes are in! So, who was saying that they didn't like STAS? DG said he was one of the few fans of the series, but yet everybody here has joined company with him. So why are ya one of the few, DG?

I really liked STAS and agree that it was the best superman series to ever appear on TV.

When I compare STAS to BTAS, of course liked BTAS better, but then again, I've always liked batman/'tec comics more than the superman/action run.... it's just a preference thing.

Holy..interegation...Compared to BTAS, STAS fans were few. I did a little project covering alot of message boards and sites over the net and found that the ratio of BTAS to STAS was very low compared to each other, hence the "one of the few".

Then I guess all of us are in a minority here! ;)

well, i loved stas, but in all honesty, i usually rooted for a batman ep during tnb/sa run, and when a sups ep came on, i was always dissapointed it wasnt batman. hey, what can i say, i like batman better, much better. peace.

I was excited to see more, although I could barely ocntain my excitement when Batman was brought to WB with new episodes. The chance to see new adventures of the Dark Knight is something that excites me every time.
