An off-shoot of the latest bump-up of "Cartoon villains you feel sorry for" (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=101448&page=6).
Depending on who you ask, either Timmy or Cosmo ruined Denzel Crocker's childhood (and whole life). (Wondering if whoever wrote "Wishful Life" was aware of this when he made Denzel a Harvard teacher in a Timmy-less world... but I digress.)
This thread here is all about good people who do heinously bad things to other good people (even if by accident, as in the Denzel Crocker case). I continue with:
- Arnold: Getting Eugene's bike totalled, getting Eugene's fish killed, ruining Eugene's birthday party... okay, it's all Eugene, but hey! Still counts.
- Tommy Pickles: Two words: "Thief Encounter" (All Grown Up!).
- Blossom (PPG): Two words: Golf clubs!
Borderline: Homer and his expensive car gets his brother's company taken over. Homer may be good, but it also happens that he is hopeless.

I knew it. You just want another excuse to talk about Klasky Csupo shows and Hey Arnold, don't you. :p

Not that she's the only PPG to ever stray from the straight and narrow.
- Buttercup: One word: Teeth!

If you're talking "Moral Decay", several more words: She was punching up bad guys' teeth. Then again, some of them got punched up at sleeping at their abodes, as opposed to doing their deeds. This case is borderline, at best. Just as borderline as the infamous color-clown punch. Sure, he didn't do anything as the color-clown, but he did heinous things as the black-and-white one.

No, but it just happens that these examples are the ones that came to mind first. It took me a while to remember Blossom stealing golf clubs.

She was making efforts to knock out Bubbles' teeth originally, until the Professor called a halt to it.
Anyway, even Villains don't deserve to be attacked while they're "just sittin' at home minding (their) own buisness." Her sisters recognized that was over the line, which is why they stood back & let Buttercup get a rather severe comeupance at the end.
There's also examples of misbehavior by all three Powerpuffs, in 'Ploys are Us' (the temptation of unlimited toys proved too much for their little-kid psyches), and 'Candy is Dandy' (an effective portrait of what kind of personality changes can result from substance abuse. "This isn't what we're about! This is crazy!")

I'd have to add Cosmo's constant bashing of Wanda for no damn reason in the more recent episodes. Not to mention he encourages Timmy to disregard all good advice and make stupid wishes which Wanda then has to help clean up. One of many reasons FOP is becoming quite irritating rather than entertaining. Why is it that when toon shows are on for more than, say, two years they almost always go bad?
