Game: Downsize the Justice League!

The game: Justice League survivor. It’s objective: to pare down the league to a more manageable fifteen members.

The rules: Each leaguer starts off with 24 points. Each day, you give or take away four points to three different leaguers of your choice.

Example:

Shayera -4
Green Arrow +4
Batman -4

Now Shayera and Batman would have 20 points each, while Green Arrow would have 28. Also, please include reasons why you voted any particular way--it's an optional thing, though--you don't have to do it.

Once a character’s point count reaches zero, they’re eliminated. The forum member who votes off a Leaguer (leaves him/her with no points) has to write a death scene for him/her.

Vibe: La Muerte de un Bailarín
Paco Ramone stared across the dancefloor at Batman. After sweat, tears and heartbreak, the Justice League dance competition was down to two finalists, the Bat and he. The winner received a one-night stand with Fire, the loser--death.
Bruce Wayne was a physical paragon. Every muscle in his body was chiseled, his control over his limbs was complete; but he was not Vibe. Paco was Zorro, Che Guevara, Cheech and any other latino cliche rolled into one. While Batman lived for justice, he lived for dance.
As J'onn played "Groove is in the Heart" on his turntables, Paco began flinging his limbs and undulating his hips. Women swooned and men gasped as he segued from one trademark move to another. Supergirl fainted, overcome by his machismo. He concluded his routine with a headspin so quick that it threatened to give him a bald spot.
The music ended and the audience cheered madly. Fire eyed Paco and licked her lips in anticipation.
Batman silenced the crowd by stepping on the dance floor. J'onn put on "Funkytown," and Bruce swiveled his hips and flung his arms convulsively.
"It can't be," said Aquaman.
"I haven't seen this since the late Silver Age," murmured Superman.
"It's the Humpty-Hump," said Flash densely.
"No," said Robin, "it's the Batusi."
The audience cheered maniacally, but the enthusiasm soon became bloodlust for the loser. The Justice League swarmed around Paco as he begged for mercy.
"No, he cheated," pled Paco, but soon the League was upon him.
"I can sing too," said Batman smugly.

"Sweetie, it's not safe for you," her stepfather implored the youngster. "Go play with the Titans."
"But they're in another continuity," Stargirl complained.
"Stargirl, I've got a different kind of assignment for you." Courtney turned to see Superman walking toward them. "There's strange activity coming from Themascyra. Only women are allowed there, and I'd like you to accompany Supergirl, Fire, Ice, and Vixen.
"Sure thing, Supes," she saluted. "I guess you could say we're in a Justice League of our own."
S.T.R.I.P.E. and Superman looked at each other. Superman's x-ray vision detected a grimmace coming from its pilot's face.

When the Javelin touched down on the grassy plains of Themascyra, they were greeted by the Amazons. They were quite tall and looking extra sexy thanks to Michael Turner's recent costume revamps.
"I want a new sexy outfit," Stargirl said to herself.
"Thank Me you're here," Hera told the team. "These beasts came out of a glowing tunnel and started attacking our city!"
Several hundred yards away, the team could see an army of bulky gray spiked creatures stampeding toward them.
"Let's go to work!" Supergirl called. They all charged into battle. As she got closer, Stargirl recognized the creatures from an old League report. They were all clones of the hideous juggernaut, Doomsday!
She tried with all her might, but Stargirl couldn't wound any of them with her scepter.
Yadda yadda yadda, she gets clobbered. There is no funeral because they couldn't find much of the body after the fighting.

"I'm sorry," Supergirl said to Pat as he climbed out of his robotic exoskeleton. S.T.R.I.P.E. had just returned from a mission in deep space with Green Lantern and Superman when Supergirl informed him of his daughter's tragic demise. "Doomsday clones took us by surprise. Superman stepped out of the boom tube onto the red landscape of Apokalips. Too late.
"I'm sorry, Superman, but your friend didn't seem to enjoy his visit." Granny Goodness and her Female Furies stood atop a pile of broken concrete and stone. At the bottom of the pile lay the remains of S.T.R.I.P.E. It was covered in blood. Superman's x-ray vision confirmed the worst.
"I wanted the Doomsday armada to bring us the secrets of Amazon strength, but alas..." Granny confided. "But there are plenty more where those came from. And if you don't want to see any more of them, you'll take your late friend and leave."
Superman was speechless for the third time in his life. He resisted the urge to punch Granny's face through the back of her skull, removed Pat Dugan's broken body from the wreck of a proud mech and stepped back through the boom tube.
"Do come again," Granny called after him. "I'll make a casserole."

Todd Rice walked down the shady streets of Metropolis. He had been out buying presents for his mother for some time. Naturally, no one knew he was Obsidian. He smiled. He had used his shadow abilities to steal her the diamond ring, but no one would know or care.

There was a loud noise of flatulation.

“What the--” Obsidian muttered.

He kept walking, hearing…footsteps?

Squeaky footsteps.

Another farting noise.

“Who’s there?”

There was a loud cracking noise, and he fell to the ground. The purple figure grinned enormously, laughter filling the air and smacked him again with the mallet. Several more hits later, Obsidian was dead in a pool of blood.

“Hm. Doesn’t seem to have the pizaz of my usual brilliant crimes…but it’ll do.”

The Joker walked off, laughing.

I hope ol' stony-face is pleased with my work... he thought, squeezing the whoppee cushion again with glee.

NOTE: Yes, I am trying to give this whole thing a plotline! Shoot me!

somehow he wishes to see that comming, but he didn't. Whan Aztek open her eyes he saw fire laying on the grass, with her blood painting the earth.
the hero tried to reach her but the enemy was still there. Grodd was having the time of his life watching bizarro taking the crap out of aztek.

Fire woke up and attacked Bizarro, but the superman clone was to quick and all aztek could hear was beatriz neck craking.

Aztek wasn't able to resist the new attack of Bizarro, who threw his dying body next to Fire.

He could barely keep his eyes open, and whit his last breath he told Beatriz "the only thing i regret is that i never told you how much i love you".

The the spark inside of him fade away.

Suddenly, Batman noticed Sand and lunged towards him, crying out, "I am vengeance! Iam the night!"

Flash stared in horror as Batman decapitated Sand with a Batarang. Slowly the Dark Knight turned, facing Flash.

It was painfully simple. Why hadn't the League just done it this way from the beginning? All that Cadmus business would never have spiraled out of control if they had just done things his way.
Wildcat was crouching in a swamp peering through binoculars. His suit was caked in mud. Through the lenses he could see the prize: Legion of Doom headquarters. He had killed three villians to get the information about the Legion and where it was located. Despite them having neurochips implanted to prevent them from disclosing the information, he forced them to stay conscious, bearing the painful shocks until they had told him all he needed to know, the strain utlimately proving to be too much for their bodies. And now he was going to deliver every single one of the Legion into the League's hands. He couldn't wait to see the look on Batman's face. Nobody would think of him as a useless old hero now.
He crept into the compound through an air vent and stalked through what looked like the private quarters. "Wow, they've really got a set-up here," he thought. "I'd almost rather live here than on the Watchtower."
An alarm sounded. "Who could have spotted me?" He barged down the coridor, searching for a place to hide. He turned straight into Parasite and Sinestro.
Ted clawed his way through Sinestro's costume before he could react with his yellow power ring. Parasite came up behind him, but Wildcat grabbed Sinestro and threw him into Parasite's hungry arms. While the two were tangled in his draining grip, Wildcat zipped away.
It wasn't long, however, before he found another obstacle. This time, it was Dr. Destiny, master and manipulator of dreams. "You seem a bit fatigued," he droned. Ted knew he was right. All the "investigation" he had done tonight, combined with this sudden spat of action was draining his aged body.
"So what, Skeletor?" He joked. "I can still knock you back to the 80's!" He hurled a fist at him, but Dr. Destiny vanished like a cloud of smoke. "Wha--?" Wildcat was grabbed from behind by the vice grip of the literally vice-armed Clayface. The pressure on his chest built up until Ted's vision blacked out. Before he completely lost consciousness for the final time, he could hear the deep timber of an amused Gorilla Grodd.
"Well, well," came the voice. "I guess I should be thanking Luthor. If he hadn't scheduled this intruder preparedness drill, our plans wouldn't have been secret for too much longer."
Matt Hagan's teasing was the last thing Ted Grant ever heard. "Curiosity, Mr. Wildcat..."

"Go!" Steel called to Vigilante and Shining Knight. He and Red Tornado were holding back the collapsing ruins of an old S.T.A.R. Labs building. They were searching for evidence concerning the defunct facility had been recently used as a hideout for Shade and a number of low-level villains. Suddenly the entire complex had begun falling apart.
The knight and cowboy hightailed it out of a window, where Knight's pegasus caught them and flew them to solid ground.
"This doesn't make any sense..." Atom shouted in Vigilante's ear. "There's no way this building could be showing its age already. It was only built twenty years ago."
"Dost thou suspect foul play?" Shining Knight asked. Atom was relaying his nearly-inaudible speech via their ear communicators.
"It's likely...if Shade and his imps were here, they might have booby-trapped it to cover up evidence."
The building was disintegrating, floor by floor, and there was still no sign of either Tornado nor Steel. If only they had brought a heavy-hitter like Green Lantern with them...but how could they have known?
Suddenly, the entire building was swept into a massive red funnel. Red Tornado was using his powers to lift chunks of the structure. Steel staggered out of the building, but fell only a few steps from the entrance. The tornado subsided, and the pieces of building tumbled into a pile of rubble atop the remains of the first floor of the laboratory.
Knight and Vigilante ran to Steel's side. Atom returned to normal size and attempted to remove his armor. It was dented and twisted.
Red Tornado emerged from the building with a few scratches on his android body. "Is he all right?" he droned.
"No," Atom said. He had just turned over the body of Henry Heywood III, revealing a small piece of water pipe that had pierced his heart. The man had held up the building long enough for the other three to escape with their lives, forfeiting his own.
Atom turned to Tornado, his mask turning dark from his damp tears. "He's dead, Red."

(Sorry this took so long. I had final projects due.)
"Get out of here, Rex, it's too dangerous!" Green Lantern was desperately attempting to hold off deadly energy blasts with a rapidly fading green shield. He and Metamorpho had been taken by surprise while bar-hopping in Central City. Sinestro, a villain sworn to destroy the Green Lantern Corps, was now attacking them with a vengance John had never seen before.
"I can't believe his ring is able to channel that much energy," Lantern wondered to himself.
"I'm not leaving you behind!" Metamorpho cried as he advanced on the red-skinned menace. "Time to show this freak what us normal-headed folk can do!" Turning into smoke, he snaked through the air and surrounded Sinestro in a cloud of tear gas.
Crying and coughing, Sinestro ceased his attack on John Stewart and pointed his ring at Metamorpho's still-tangible head. With a giant shovel construct, he scooped up the cloud of vapor and sealed it within a yellow jar. Rex turned his fists into diamond and attempted to cut through the barrier, but he couldn't penetrate the strong energy field created by Sinestro's ring.
"LET HIM GO!" Lantern created a gigantic mallet and slammed it down upon the enemy. Before it made contact, however, a second energy beam shot from Sinestro's ring and created a shield above his head, successfully blocking the deadly blow.
"Two constructs? Of that size?" Lantern was beside himself. "How is that possible?"
"John!" Metamorpho called. "Getting...hard to breathe..." A vaccum pump was now hooked up to the jar, quickly sucking the oxygen out of his prison.
"This is Lantern!" John shouted to his communicator. "I need backup, NOW!" He continued pounding on Sinestro's shield to no avail.
"I'm sorry, John," Mr. Terrific's voice replied. "But with our limited roster, the only available help can't get there for another twenty minutes."
"REX MASON IS DYING!" Lantern had transformed his hammer into a drill, but Sinestro's shield continued to hold.
"We're doing the best we can," Mr. Terrific said.
Suddenly, the yellow energy fizzled and faded. Metamorpho dropped, and GL caught him with a giant emerald hand.
Sinestro shook his ring fist, annoyed. "He said it would last longer than that. Well, I guess I'd better get going. See you again, John Stewart. Very, very soon!" He used the reserve power in his ring to blast himself away from the combat zone, leaving John cradling Rex in his arms.
"Dammit, breathe!" he furiously pumped Metamorpho's chest and performed CPR. But he had been without oxygen for too long. His pulse did not return. His lungs did not resume their work. His eyes were wide open and as empty as Sinestro's heart. John sat in disbelief, crying over the body of his best friend.
