With the recent debate (well, should I say part MCVXIIV of the debate?) over whether or not Simpsons has "jumped the shark," I thought that there are Simpsons stories I currently really enjoy and laugh at reguarlly, and they are the monthly stories being published by Bongo Comics. They do a darn good job on the comic books, and while the stories in them may not be as good as the Simpsons in their hey day, they are really good. Especially in light of the recent seasons of the Simpsons.

I used to buy those all the time when I was a really big fan of the show! (Then again, I also used to collect the Super Mario Bros. comics *gets nostalgic for them*) I still have some, actually. I have some from the regular series, some Bartman, and two Treehouse of Horror ones. I also heard they were coming out with a Lisa comic a while ago. She was always my favorite. :) Has it been cancelled yet?

The comics are going stronger than ever! It has been monthly since issue 50, and Futurama has come out as a regular series. I don't know about the Lisa comic tho, but they do have a Bart one. Right now, I am just buying Simpsons and Futurama.

Do you read the comics, Inque?
Who else is reading the comics STILL (and not just the first few issues) and how do you think it compares to the show?
