I heard in reviews of this paperback that it collects issues of 7-12 of "The Batman Adventures" (the first Batman comic based on the animated series), and that it provides background information on the criminals featured in each of the issues. I have Issue 10, which features the Riddler, but when they talk about his backstory in this trade collection, does his history and motivation deviate from how it was established in the animated series? I'd greatly appreciate any help anyone could give me. Thank you all for your time.
