I was cruising the internet today when something caught my eye. Check this link out:

http://eurobricks.com/

scroll down a bit, and check out the picture they have up. If you're a cynic and you need confirmation, check the link to their forums or whatever they have up.

They're also doing Spongebob Squarepants and Avatar lego sets as well.

As for the picture...nice.

Wow. They're actually making real Batman LEGOs. Guess they got tired of the Kubricks selling so well.

Anyone know who made the X-Men block figures a few years ago? There were a few sets, one of which was Wolvie, Storm, Cyclops, and Logan. I have some of them somewhere, but I can't find them and can't remember who made 'em. Doh.

Anyone know who made the X-Men block figures a few years ago?I think you're talking about the Marvel Minimates, which are still being made and are pretty easy to find. I never had any of the X-Men ones, but I've got some Daredevil minimates which I picked up at a local record store.

They're cute as all hell, but very, very expensive for such tiny figures.

Well, these will probably be better than that third rate company who's been doing Lego-esque Batman sets. Sure, the sets themselves look okay, but they refuse to make a normal looking Batman.

Though, I thought their Superman vs. Darkesied in the Apocalypse throne room was pretty Bad ass...

Hopefully this will also give rise to a "Lego Batman" videogame, which has the potential to be totally bad ass.

You mean the minimate ones? I don't know, I thought they made a good blue-costume Batman in this set (http://us.st8.yimg.com/store1.yimg.com/I/wickedcoolstuff_1864_4981614), and a good black-costume Batman in this set (http://us.st8.yimg.com/store1.yimg.com/I/wickedcoolstuff_1864_8141151). And you gotta give 'em props for making a Man-Bat minimate (http://www.batmanytb.com/toys/artasylum/batcycle.jpg).

too bad im not a little kid anymore:shrug:Tch, you're a member of TZ and as such you're allowed, nay, you are encouraged to get excited about something like this. Do a little dance to show your enthusiasm, if you'd like. "We can dance if we want to. We can leave your friends behind. Because your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance, well, they're no friends of mine."*

*-I am so sorry. I'm extra sing-songy today.

This can mean only one thing, LEGO Batmobile! It looks like we'll get a generalized Lego Batman, a Lego Batman Begins, and a Lego The Batman. Which Batmobile would you prefer? probably Begins.

I predict:

A batcycle as a smaller set,
Batmobile as a $20-$25 set,
Batwing would be a cool big set,
maybe some villain vehicles, (like Joker's roadster from The Batman,)
Some playsets, like streets of Gotham,
And oh god, if I'm a good boy: a $100-$150 Wayne Manor/Batcave playset.

Actually, I've been looking at the other forums, and they are reporting these four sets at launch:

7779 Batman Dragster: Catwoman Pursuit
7780 Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc
7781 Batmobile: Two-Face's Escape
7782 Batwing: Jokers Aerial Assault

I'm assuming each one will have a Batman, and Catwoman, Croc, Twoface and Joker sound cool. Can't wait to see what the Batmobile and Batwing come out like. But I wonder how the Batman Dragster will distinguish itself?
