Printing Mistake?

I just purchased Series of Unfortunate Events #12 yesterday and I found an awful Printing error that completely confused me.

The first 6 chapters are fine, but once you get to Chapter 7, the entire book gets messed up.

In the middle of Chapter 7 on page 152, it jumps all the way to page 185 which I figured out to be the middle of chapter 8 because the next chapter is chapter 9.

Then in Chapter 9, at page 216, it jumps all the way back to page 185 and goes until the end of chapter 8 and then it continues from page 217 until the end of chapter 9 and then chapter 9 begins properly with no interruptions.

This mistake has caused me to miss out on chapters 7 and 8, and now I need to go return the book.

So, I was wondering, Is this problem in every book or did I just get a bad copy?

You most likely just got a bad copy... it happens. It's the first I'm hearing of the incident. Usually when there's an error like that appearing in lots of books, the bookstores are told of it.. as of right now, I haven't heard anything of it.

It's most likely a random printing error... it happens all the time, regardless of whether the book is a new release or is entering it's 12 billionth printing. If I had a nickel for everytime I saw this happen, I'd be rich! Rich I tell ya!

Just take it back to the store and show them the offending pages, they'll be more than happy to fix it.
