Why did Marvel push the Howling Commandos series and not this? We all know Howling Commandos is doomed but this comic has a chance to really hit it big! The comic can introduce the more dramatic elements without a problem but the writing and artwork just makes the comic feel comforting and easily accessible. I'm not sure how else to describe this comic but "adorable." This comic better last more than 12 issues this time around!

I gave this one a try on a whim. I enjoyed the story but the art left a whole lot to be desired. I want to see how the whole Clint thing works out but I'm not sure beyond that.

I loved this issue. I've missed the sheer fun that is She Hulk ever since it got "cancelled" earlier in the year, but man, this issue was such a blast. To the references to the earlier issue (I get knocked down, but I get up again!) to the hilarious image of Jen jogging to Queen's legendary Don't Stop Me Now track to all the new stuff, such as her new boss and her relationship with Pug, there's a nice mix of the new and old, which is exactly what's needed in a relaunch.

The thought of She Hulk trade paper backs saving the life of everyone's favourite comic nerd, Stu, had me laughing for several minutes after I'd finished reading the book. Couldn't help but get a weird vibe from the whole thing though, especially after this speech about trade paperbacks padding thier stories... :o

With all that a brief glimpse of Awesome Andy (!) and a great cliffhanger, I can't wait to read more.

Did anyone else pick this up? What did you think?

Even for people who don't like this book for some reason you have to give Slott credit for his use of continuity in the comic. He doesn't pile it on so that readers feel lost and he doesn't fall back on overbearing expository dialogue either. He manages to find this great balance for the two. I'm actually surprised there's little talkback for this comis especially given the amount of Slott fans here at TZ.
