I remember reading/looking through it once while I was at a Barnes and Nobles but I never got to look through the whole thing. So what are you opinions about it? I'm thinking of buying it as my interest in Batman has for some odd reason, spiked up again(probably due to JL hehe)

One of my favorite books of this type of all time! I almost wish I had a second copy so I could flip through my copy with wild abandon all the time without worrying about destroying my only copy.
Highly, highly recommended!

My only disappointment is I didn't spring the extra few dollars to get the hard cover. It's worth every penny.

ahhh..it's wonderful. I wish I got hardcover, probably would have, but I was in a book-store in the mall, and for some reason, they had a pile of the soft-cover for $4 each!! I should've bought 2...it's such an awesome book.
I'd definitely go out and get it. You won't regret it.

A pile for $4 each?? Holy! I got mine for Christmas a few years back and it is a great read. The binding is slowly starting to give, so I may have to search out a new copy of it soon.

I just got another copy for Christmas from my friend. I don't know whether to keep it or try to trade it for that Ultimate Guide to Batman book....

Same problem here. Still, it's a really realy great book: thorough, comprehensive, interesting...

I've read it dozens of times, and likely will read it more and more. I think that could be a factor as to why I need a new copy. I've been enjoying the book. I'm trying to find a hardcover version, but it seems impossible to find.

By the sound of it, looks like I'll be going for the hardcover(if I can!) :)

I loved it, but it could have used some screenshots and more pics, especially of Robin, instead of just concept art.

Yeah, it's an excellent book!!! I wish i'd have gotten the hard-back too, because my binding is giving too.

I dont know if i have the hard or soft binding, my cover has batman on the front, with the words batman animated below it on red, white and black. my binding is already off, but then again, so were all of the copies at the book store i was at. Oh, and definitly buy the ultimate guide to the dark knight. It is definitly one of the greatest books ever

Must find HC, cuz the cover came off my SC a long time ago. Fortunately, the book itself is pretty securely bound together. In fact, with the cover off it's actually a bit easier to flip through.

I would have liked a few more examples of finished art myself, but they did stupendous work nonetheless! If any of you don't have it yet, you're missing out!

I was sooo thrilled when I got that book, it is such a great buy!! though *sobs* my binding is slowly breaking because I've looked through it so much, I really should try and order a hard cover of it or something...I don't know what I'll do if the one that I have breaks or something. Everything in the book is great to read and to look at, character designs, the whole thing. Another book I've been meaning to get is The Ultimate Guide to Batman. I flipped through it at Borders a few times, it looks awesome. I bought my friend that Spidey book of it, and he was in seventh heaven!

So where is the Batman Beyond book? At the end of the first book, we get our first look at Batman Beyond and in the back it says TO BE CONTINUED. Well? Where is book two???

With Superman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, and now Justice League, there will definitely be enough material for a second book if they decide to make one. But if they make it too soon, it will feel incomplete.

Superman, Batman Beyond, and JL all need their own book. I don't want all three in one book, unless that is going to be one extremely thick book!
