My God, someone made Namor interesting!

It was weird seeing Mrs. Storm act the way she did, not at all what I was expecting to see. I think this book has really picked up since Millar came back, I can't wait to see what else he's got planned.

I can't see this topping Crossover, but man, this was fun. Interestingly, the zombie FF members are still alive!

Wow this was a good story to follow with the Zombies. And I still don't see how they aren't killing those things. I wonder if the Zombies will play a role to this new arc or was this just thier cameo for the arc.

What is amazing is that they put the egyptian look into everything and having that last page..Wow...that was a suprise. And it kinda reminds me of the recent Smallville episode "Aqua". Very good issue. :D

I was pretty surprised by the last page. It turns out that Namor was actually in a prison! This is a big change from his origins of royalty in the mainstream comics but does explain why he's such a jerk all the time! This was a really good cliffhanger and I can't wait for next month's wrap up!

Can last month's great cliffhanger be beat?

A good battle issue--although Reed breaking out the robot-that-basically-IS-the-Super-Skrull was kind of random. But you gotta love the panel of giant Mrs. Storm in lingerie saying she'd take it from there. That's comedy. It reminded me of the end of Ghostbusters with Dan Akyroyd accidentally conjuring up the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.

Also, the end was...confusing. Were we supposed to recognize the tattoo? Hmm...

That tattoo is the mark of Dr. Doom. It's a special tattoo that was a device invented by Dr. Doom from Warran Ellis's "Doom" storyline. He affixed it to the bodies of his followers and used it to control them.

That was a great finale. These 3 issue arcs are really great, you feel Millar's trying to get as much in there as possible. He states Will Eisner as his inspiration for this and it really seems to be working well for him. Aside from the aforementioned randomness of the Super Skrullish robot, everything fitted together nicely.

Great cliffhanger too. Can the return (and hopeful revamp) of Dr. Doom be too far behind?

I love the ultimate universe but man..they have soo many cliff-hangers at the end of one arc to another...I mean, it's a great way to have something to go with future stories but I just really think that I need a break from it...Hmm, I'll just read Ultimate Iron Man then :p

So...Was the whole Mrs. Storm thing fake and all part of Doom's plans of revenge? It could work out to be understandable. Doom finds info on Mrs. Storm through looking around at Sue's room. Finds someone to be her or look like her, or even Mrs. Storm herself and capture her. Then start controlling her and by the end of it, try to get a new partner out of the deal.

Namor and Doom together against the UFF...Wow this is a different universe after all! :)
