I'm sorry if there is a thread similar to this. This was something I was wondering about. Here's a toon I like but everyone else hates: RoboCop: Alpha Commando. Yeah, it's cheesy and yes, it had very little in common with the movie it's based, but darn it. I like it.:)

Loonatics Unleashed. (ducks at flying produce hurtling out of cyberspace) Okay, okay, I know. What can I say? It's morbidly fascinating. I'm not saying I LIKE it. It's just...fascinating. Like those plastic surgery shows on Entertainment Television. An extreme makeover too gruesome not to watch.

I posted on a thread like this ages ago and my answers then are the same as now (with some additions due to time passage):
Time Squad
Ed, Edd, and Eddy (not the first season episodes)
American Dad (I've read on other sites that most people do not like this cartoon because it's a rip-off of Family Guy just because it has a crazy family and was created by the same person)
Toonsylvania (I don't know if anyone hated this show, but I do know it wasn't as popular as Tiny Toons or Animaniacs)
Ren and Stimpy (the Games Animation episodes and some of the Adult Party Cartoon episodes)
Fairly Oddparents

Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi- I can't help it but I actually like this show in places, but everybody hates it so much.
101 Dalmatians (The 1996 Animated Series)- Another guilty pleasure. Everybody hated this show to death at the time it was first broadcasted but I really liked it.
The New Pink Panther (1993, the series where Pink started to talk)- I didn't always LIKE it, but I found it a pretty good series to watch anyway. Everybody hated it because of Pink's voice, obviously but I for one didn't actually MIND Pink's voice really. It wasen't all that bad to me.

Reign the Conqueror: I found it interesting, visually stunning and well-written. But barely anyone could get past the skimpy costumes.

Digimon- Most people hate it because they think its a soulless Pokemon copy, which it isn't and is better written and done than Pokemon's repetitive plot and shallow characters.
Time Squad- I thought this was show was funny, where else could see Abe Lincoln giving people atomic wedgies or the Midnight Ride of Sigmund Freud?
Ed, Edd, n' Eddy- An underrated classic, it didn't become the last Cartoon Cartoon still dishing out new episodes for nothing.

IMO they need to take the Panther back to his roots - to the way he looked in the opening credits of the very first Pink Panther movie, when he was still slinky instead of bigfoot-clumsy and he had a pleasing design. The angular Panther we have now sucks IMO.
And IMO - (again prepares to duck at flying vegetable matter) - you know who I think would do a great Panther voice? David Spade! Think about it: sly, slightly smug, sarcastic...he'd give the Panther an actual personality not associated with primary colors...

Loonatics Unleashed. And I am saying that I like it. I think it's the best new cartoon of the new season thusfar.Maybe it's just that my love for all things Looney is overriding my common sense, but...I kind of dig Tech Coyote. And the Duck. And the non-predatory camaraderie amongst the characters is...weird, but interesting. I'll give it time...but I still think the suits at Warners did this because: "Hey! Let's take the classic comedy Looneys and make 'em superheroes! Because comedy is HARD!" :p

The only one I can think of at the moment is The Ripping Friends. I thought it was hilarious, I really wondered why it was so unpopular. I mean, come on, what's better than little googly-eyed monsters stealing spines? :p

Ed, Edd, n Eddy!-Why on earth do so many people hate this? The writing is genius and the characters are really appealing compared to the other CN originals. Not to mention it was one of the last cartoons to use hand-painted cell animation

I'm going to go ahead and cite some people right quick:
Time Squad
Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi
Teacher's Pet
and...
The Cramp Twins
Johnny Test
Let's face it, nobody likes these series... yet, I find myself morbidly attached to them (especially the former) because they seem so much like Cartoon Network originals.

RE: Doopliss
I disliked the Ripping Friends when I first saw it in 2001, and viewing it on Teletoon and at John K.'s parents's home when I visited Canada in August 2004 and the first few times I watched the 4-episode DVD didn't improve it much (but I liked the Dr. Jean Poole episode quite a bit). But earlier this year, when watching the DVD again, I found it to be kinda fun, if not nearly great as the early Ren and Stimpy. The reason the show turned out kind of crummy is partly due to the fact that the companies that animated the show threw out all the drawings of John K., Jim Smith and the other Spumco artists becuase they were consider "off-model". I would mind a DVD with fully uncut versions of all 13 RF episodes, plus lots of bonus features (maybe even Spumco's 2 web cartoon series and other animated stuff that featured Jimmy the Hapless Idiot Boy, George Liquor, Sody Pop, Slab 'n' Ernie, etc.). John K. really wants to do more Ripping Friends cartoons, he just needs more money. Myabe if some third party (after Cartoon Network and Teletoon) like, say, Ralph Bakshi or Frederator or maybe some British or Japanese company backed it up, John K. could make RF cartoons the way he wanted to make them.
RE: Tintin
I also liked Tom & Jerry Kids quite a bit. It wasn't nearly as wretched as some say. The Droopy segments did an okay job of continuing Avery's characters like Red (now called "Vickie Va-Voom") and the Wolf (now called "McWolf").
And Games Animation(s)/Production(s)'s episodes of Ren & Stimpy aren't worthless, they just lacked John K.'s guidence, direction and vision. The Games had some good art and animation, some great ideas, some good moments, and lots of genuine talent working on the show. It was just inconsistant, and in many (but not all) cases sorely lacked John Kricfalusi's creative control and sense of heart (yes, I said "heart"). Still, it at least tried to carry on R&S's leagcy. Too bad it failed.
Anyway, there are LOADS of cartoons I like that others hate. Cow & Chicken is a pretty good example. Time Squad, like others have said, is a cool little that has an unfair hatred among some. Toonsylvania was okay IMHO. Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries ain't hysterical, but it has loads of cameos from classic Warner Toons that make the show interesting enough to watch IMHO. I feel that Scrappy-Doo didn't kill Scooby-Doo. Scooby-Doo was hardly a masterpiece to begin, and it degraded to some extent after most incarnations. Scrappy's at least more tolerable IMHO then that hick Scooby-Dum (who was never all that interesting) and the IMHO very lousy Laff-A-Lympics (my feelings towards THAT show is a another story for another thread). What really made the franchise go down the crapper was went they made short subject-length cartoons that placed Scooby, Shaggy and Scrappy in totally random situations. Thank Bill and Joe it only lasted about 2 or 3 seasons.

Pup named scooby-doo ( its even funnier than the original)
- Digimon: Many, many people call it a rip-off of Pokémon. Well... I'll admit I was one of them until I had to watch during one summer.
- Rugrats: While I didn't like the last two or three seasons, the first ones are classics. It's a shame that the OOC of the last seasons ruined the memory of such a funny cartoon.
- Fairly Oddparents: Pfft... I chose a very wrong time to start liking this show. I'm still discovering most of the old episodes and there's no way to talk about them with other people, since it has become a "trend" to bash this cartoon so much .

The Proud Family: Not always great but sometimes very funny.
The Buzz on Maggie: Terribly, terribly underated. More people should watch it. If it were on CN or Nick I'm sure it would have received more attention.
Dave the Barbarian: It's alright, not visually great, but some clever writing.
Puffy Ami Yumi: Not going to age to well, but still somewhat enjoyable.

You know, that damn thing is growing on me. It's an obvious rip of Sergio Aragones' Groo the Wanderer, but just the same the characters are pretty likeable and pretty funny. A sweetly dysfunctional but loving family. I hope more eps are made of it.

Fairly Oddparents: I still dont understand why everyone hates this show. I think it was a very original idea and a cute idea at that. I always thought it was funny esp. Cosmo.
Digimon: This is definitly better than Pokemon! For one thing the plot of the Digimon and Pokemon were sooo far from each other. The only thing these 2 shows had in common was that they both had "mon" at the end of there names.
Ed, Edd, n Eddy: I always liked this show ever since it came out. I didn't know people hated it so much until i started coming on toonzone.
Hey Arnold: The first 2 season were really good IMO. but it did get annoying toward the end cause the base of the show sorta changed which I didnt like.

The hate has started up recently I believe. Since the beginning of the year FOP's storylines and characterizations have taken a turn for the worse, and Cosmo is the best example of that. He's always been foolish but his foolishness never hurt anyone, and he never MEANT for it to hurt anyone. Not so now. He's become a self-absorbed ******* with a heart and brain the size of belly button lint. On top of that, the charm of Cosmo and Wanda's relationship - a unique one on TV at one time, due to the fact that they were crazy about each other, as opposed to the couples on other shows who indulge in endless and ultimately tiresome antagonism - has been destroyed. And Timmy, the show's protagonist, is no longer a sympathetic character but a self-centered brat not even Bart Simpson could love. This is all due to lousy writing and worse judgement on the part of the show's producers. Many times shows go bad because of age and fatigue. IMO, FOP went bad because of ego and incompetence.

I'm probably the ONLY person in this community who's gonna say this but. I liked Gundam SG. In fact, to this day, it's the only Gundam show in the WHOLE series I ever gave a crap about, and watched every episode for it.
I've TRIED watching the other Gundams, and really I just didn't friggen CARE. Too much moping, too much inner conflict, too much monologing about how their ultra smart plan will ensure them victory. There's like 20 people on each side, and each side thinks the other is pure evil. There's these wacky love triangles that involve opposing armies. It's like a damn anime Soap Opera.
Now, with Gundam SG, I liked the amination style. I liked the characters, I liked the voices, the music, and I liked the Chibi look. And the Zako Zako Hour was pure genius. I think outside of SG, the farthest I got into a Gundam show was G Gundam.
