Hey all! Well, here's a little subject that has bugged me from time to time, and that's keeping track on the ages of everyone in the bat world. My sources have Dick Grayson, at the moment, at about 24 years of age. Agree, disagree? I have no idea how old Barb is. And she is older then Dick, isn't she? Tim is in his teens, like 15 right? And Bruce, well, I would place him in his 40's, but that's just a wild guess. I'd really appreciate some feedback on this, thanks!

Your right about the Bruce age. The comics' always say he's in that Bracket. Never Pushing 35 yrs.

But that Grayson age. I'd have to modify. I say he's a Strong 23, or even 22. Just looking at his character you want him to be at least 25, but come on, If he was taken in By Bruce at the age letas say 12...then Bruce was looking over him at 21? I just cant see it. I want to give Bruce a couple of years more under his belt like 23, to Graysons 12.

And it still fits, as they say in the DCU, Bruce has been Batman, in his life span, for a little over a decade, same with Supes. So that would be 11 Years for Bruce, and 10 Years for Dick, as Crime Fighters. And even in the Books, called year one for Bats, When they Made the "year 2" Books, That's when Robin was introduced.

I always thought Dick was at least 14 or 15 when Bruce took him in. And since Batman took him in at the end of Year One or beginning of Year Two, and has operated for ten or so years, that puts Dick at 24 or 25...and Bruce at about 34-35

I thought that Dick was only 9 or 10 when Bruce took him in??? Or was that just in the cartoon version? He doesn't, or didn't look that old in the comics when his parents died. geesh, Bats isn't even 40 yet? I love that, lol. And Babs isn't older then Dick?

remeber in "Paging the Crime Dr." where Rupert Thorns brother graduated at 1911 (i his year book), what year does the "animated series" take place. I mentioned the before just to get a grip on where we are around.

It takes place in "the present." The creators have never been too picky about placing dates, which helps keep it from getting dated too quickly. Good call on their part, since the series has become a classic that will be watched for decades to come...

Babs is older than Dick. It's all in DK's new Batman info book. Look for it at bookstores! If I had it, I'd post exact ages here! :o
