I just listened to Green Chri$tma$ again, after posting in Martin's "Xmas Song Parody"
thread. It's just as funny and relevant now as when it was recorded. Stan is truly a living genius, and one of the surviving links to Termite Terrace.
BTW, for anyone who loves Looney Tunes, Jay Ward's cartoons, Beany & Cecil, Daws Butler, or just a good laugh, get some Stan Freberg! Most all his best stuff is available on Rhino Records.
Now, we all know Stan worked with Mel Blanc voicing Hubie & Bertie, the Goofy Gophers and of course, Pete Puma. But he also did one Tom & Jerry cartoon for Hanna-Barbera.
I'll give you a hint - think 1953:D
