I think this is the first movie made in Japan to ever get a US release before the JP one.

I could be wrong, but eh. The OVAs aren't set to release until the start on next month in Japan, IIRC.

ANN says this'll be airing on Adult Swim at the end of the month. Midnight on the night of the 29th to be precise. Pretty cool. (ed note: AS forum topic (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=151580)). A good chance to check it out.
