Another possibly bad idea for a thread, from yours truly.
Having seen (and had a good laugh at) the cross-genre trailer for (The) Shining (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=151234), I began to wonder the possibilities of doing other cross-genres. They seem to be endless, but the first thing that came to mind? Wasn't movie-related at all. I was thinking of how easy it would be to make Winx Club look like a soap. Just take many random scenes of the girls (in their regular forms) talking with the boys they're in love with and doing non-magical business (Bloom petting Kiko at the end of "Royal Heartbreak", for example), and set it all to a dramatic score (like this old Guiding Light one (http://www.wost.org/gl83ot.ram)). Maybe include a dancing scene (from "Save the First Dance") at the end too, and I'd be set.
