Maybe this will fill the Link-shaped gap that the Twilight Princess game left when it got delayed.

But in any case, Fire Emblem has always been a series of good constant quality, and I look forward to playing this game despite the potential of repeating the same levels over and over if I want to keep a guy alive.

Yay! My suggestion was taken! But seriously, this is shaping up to be one of the best games of the year. I'm definitely getting it for my birthday, and, seeing as how popular Lyn became (and she was on a GBA game), in later years, Ike may be spoken of in the same respects as the other high-quality new characters of this generation, Dante and Master Chief.

This sorta caught me off guard. But yeah, I'll do my damnest to scoop this up ASAP.

Have this pre-ordered from Amazon. May it be as good as 7 or at least better than 8. Please let it be better than 8.

Videos from IGN look good. I'm amazed at how well they lip-sync'd the opening in English.

Really? I felt everyone but Mist was pretty solid. At least this sounds better than BK ever did.

Well, Everything sounds better than BK.. so that`s not really a comparison. I`ve played several games where people have said they did not like the voice acting and I thought it was ok/good/great, but BK`s voices hurt my ears quite literally. Lyude was painful to listen to.

I haven`t played this game yet, so I can`t make a judgement on it, but it`ll probably be at least as good as starfox armada, which I thought had pretty good VA`s. Even Slippy was tolerable(at least we could tell he was male this time).

Now that I have the game, I was wondering what the connectivity features are? Someone mentioned that you can upload your GBA units to play in 3D on extra GCN maps. Is that true? Because seeing Lyn, Hector, Joshua, and even Sain and Ninian in 3D will be awesome!

Huh, I thought the connectivity unlocked artwork from the GBA FEs and then opened up some playable maps from those games. Least, that's the impression I got..

This game has turned out to be awesome! Certainly my vote for Game of the Year thus far (only Resident Evil 4 even comes CLOSE).

I just got to the part where (Chapter 7 spoilers)
Greif dies.
And, is it just me, or does (also Chapter 7 spoilers)
the Dark Knight seem like Darth Vader to Greif's O-Bi-Wan?

Got it earlier today.

Cool as expected. I hope it dosen`t get impossibly hard like the firt GBA one did. Here they seem to be very liberal with giving you strong units from the get-go. Two prepromotes and a level 9 knight as your early party. Not tooo shabby.

EDIT: Gah, two of my strongest guys just left because of the aforementioned spoiler. On the plus side, though, I now have over 1000 bonus exp to disrtibute over my guys. Weee!

yeah, BK does seem to have a vader thing going. I really like his voice too. It`s not an uberdeep one like you would expect, but slightly high and raspy. still evil sounding though.

Did anyone catch what BK called Grail in the the Chapter 7 cutscene? The volume for the clip (for whatever reason) was really low, and I missed it. :crying: I have a feeling it'll be important, too.
