I have never heard the Teen Titans show say anything about it being Jump City, yet when I read the TeenTitansGo! comic, it does. Unless there was specific mention of it in the show, is the Titans' base really Jump City? Or is it any city we want it to be?
Please clarify! :anime:

Not sure, but I read about "Jump City" in the standard promotional announcements (i.e. official synopsises but never the actual epsisode) but it's obvious it's suppose to be San Francisco (like in the comics)

The current "real" comics' Titans are based in San Francisco? The 80's "New Teen Titans" series (and possibly the original "Teen Titans" series of the 60's/70's, though don't recall) was based in New York City (lots of Manhattan references, etc.).

I have seen every episode of the Teen Titans show, and they have not mentioned anything about "Jump City" (unless I missed something). The writers are just vague enough to where they don't define where the city is located, that way any kid in any part of the US (or Canada, or Europe:shrug:  ) can think that he/she is in the same city as the Teen Titans!
Sounds a little lame, but I think it's true.

Yes, they mention the name and even go to Alcatraz.
they've never mentioned it on the show but they mention it on the novels and TTG novels, and i think people that work on the show have mentioned they do live in Jump city, the reason they don't say it on the show is to make it have a feeling of "any" city.

Actually, in Homecoming pt.2 it was confirmed that the Titans are based in California.

Titans East is located in Steel City, which is likely analogous to Pittsburgh, as it is sometimes known as "the Steel City". As far as "Jump City" goes, I seem to recall either Glen Murakami or David Slack saying that Jump City was a combination of San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.
