Paranoia agent leaves adult swim at its 1:30 and 4:30 slot to give us the return of ghost in the shell:sac Oct.24. Also Neon Genisis Evangalion repeats on sat. at 1:30 on Oct.22.

Sounds reasonable. I don't see why Neon Genesis isn't premiering Saturdays though and encoring Thursdays. Oh well...

1:30? Was that the tradeoff to keep it uncut?

No it's airing at 12:30 so it can be as uncut as possible. 1:30AM on Saturday is the encore slot. Thursdays at 12:30AM are the premieres.

Thursday premieres are probably the best possible slot for Eva, following a solid half-hour of Robot Chicken which follows a full hour of premiere episodes of McFarlane shows.

I was pretty doom-and-gloom about Eva's potential ratings before, but now that they've solidified their fall Thursday lineup, I'm pretty optimistic.

I mean, it still probably won't match up with Inuyasha or FMA in its heyday, but at least now it's not a guaranteed disaster.
