These are mostly life studies that I've done over the past month or so. I found that they were of varying degrees of success.

This one was done from a live person. Trying to get the anatomy right with it.

These are some more Squirrel drawings from around campus. There are alot of them, and they make for interesting subjects. I wanted to define my important lines so I added ink and charcole around the lines I most liked. However, I still tried to keep alot of the movement and energy of the original sketch.

And finally for a bit of fun my first foray into the world of acrylic paint. The two on top are washes in burnt umber paint and the one on the bottom was done in Prismacolor marker.

So there you are. Thoughts?

Very solid studies, especially the squirl one. Just remember to keep your hand loose!

I find the acrylic pics interesting... very playful and energetic.

It's very interesting that you would say that, most of my drawings were very loose for the longest time. Recently I've been trying to tighten them up but I think I've gone to far.
