Game Show Celeb Nipsey Russell is Dead

It's a sad for game show fans like myself as I just heard that the famous African-American poet-laureate of game shows, Nipsey Russell, has passed away.:crying: He died after a long battle with lung cancer, I believe. He would've been 81 next week. He's well-known for his many appearnaces on Match Game & every version of Pyramid.:crying:

Well, I stink at poetry, so I'll just say that I'll never forget his witty sense of humor and fantastic gameplay on both shows. Good-bye, Nipsey. You were one of the best Pyramid players ever.:crying:

OMG! Hamilton Camp and now Nipsey Russell! I had saw Nipsey on an episode of 227 (from 1987) last week. He played Lester's uncle Edmond. He looked pretty good then. Rest In Peace, Nipsey. :(

Nipsey was known for doing poetry on game shows like Password, Pyramid, and Match Game. I know a couple of his poems:
