Best Sonic the Hedgehog Video Game

Well, what game do you like the best? Personally, I vote for "Sonic the Hedgehog 2". I also like "Triple Trouble" alot too.

Mine are Sonic 3 with most difficult level.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles. You locked on Sonic & Knuckles with Sonic 3 and got one super-long game, which you could beat as Sonic, Knuckles or Tails. And Sonic & Tails went down a different route than Knuckles, which gave you a different ending. And if you got Sonic all of the Chaos Emeralds, you got to see the real ending of the game. I played this one a lot over the summer and finally managed to get all of the Emeralds and beat the game.

Yes SONIC 3 is a blast. I hooked up my Sega Genesis today, it brought back fond memories. I like SONIC 2's "Special Stages", in a pretty cool 3-D mode for the early 1990's.

Sonic Adventure OR Sonic 3 and Knuckles. I DO know every little secret of both those games. Period. :)

Sonic 3 and Knux may get my vote, 'cause it was the game that really made me into a hardcore Sonic fan...all the emeralds, plot lines, and levels. It was so amazing at the time...still beats most of today's games too. ;)
