Well, here we go again, DD fans! Tonight is another new ep of Duck Dodgers. Once again, I have NO idea what they're about. Remember, don't comment until after the ep is done. I'll try to comment as soon as possible.:)

Honestly, this episode was a snooze fest.
I would have preferred a bit more attempted violence in "Too Close for Combat" instead of that lame showdown.
Hubie and Bert was a bit of a surprise, but they didn't really add too much in the comedy department.
"Fins of War" was just a waste of an episode. Nothing really going on there. stupid misundersanding = war between people (where have we heard that one before?) Conflict is over in like 6 seconds through talking.
Personally I think the writers should have focused less on squeezing in guest stars and more on the gags.
Let's just hope this time it was just a fluke and not a sign of things to come.

Of the 2 cartoons in this ep, I really liked "Too Close for Combat.":) Hubie & Bertie are so cute!:anime: I thought some of the comedy was pretty enjoyable.:) Oh, and I loved seeing the Martian Queen (& Martian Commander) in the sauna!:nurse:

Well,. . .you have a point about the first one. I rewatched it. . .and I have to admit it was decent. Sauna scene and where Hubie was talking subliminal messages to Cadet were good.
I still stand by my statement about the 2nd one though.
Since this is a CN original airing on Boomerang, talkbacks for Duck Dodgers will be at Boomerang Board and mirrored at CN Board.
Continue discussion, folks.
