Mar Anime Possibly Licensed by Viz Media

Viz Media Anime License? (09:13 AM EDT): According to a credits list at their website (http://www.pcbproductions.com/HTMLfiles/Credits/credits.html), PCB Productions has listed that they've done work for Viz Media with the anime series Mar. Back at the San Diego Comic-Con this year, Ed Chavez reported that he saw that there was a Viz promo DVD that had Mar listed but he never saw the episode. While this is obviously not 100% confirmed it's about as close as you can get without the formal announcement - something Viz Media rarely offers to begin with. Thanks to Juliant for the discovery.
So... any dub cast guesses if this is true?

I'm guessing we'll see this on Toonami between Zatch Bell and Naruto by the end of next year. I'm just kinda' surprised that Viz didn't go for Bleach before Mar (Bleach has like twice as many episodes, anyway). At any rate, again if this is true, Viz is really picking up the pace with licensing Shonen Jump shows. If Viz can maintain their Naruto quality from here on out, I'd love to see them become the next "shonen anime on TV powerhouse" distributor instead of 4K!DS.

Hmm... I guess I could see Mar airing next to Zatch Bell and Naruto on Toonami but Toonami is nowhere near in danger of not having enough shonen material (JUMP or otherwise, Mar is Shonen Sunday I hear) so perhaps it shouldn't.

Mar didn't see like anything special though. Reguardless it's good that 4kids did not get it. They don't deserve to ruin any more anime. I wish Viz would get some shoujo anime out there so we wouldn't have to relay on 4kids to get mainstream shoujo (and ruin them).

If Mar came to Toonami. It'd be like Rave Master returning but a little better. It's also a major spat in the face of anyone who wanted to see Flame of Recca on Toonami. But you know Toonami these days is all about the new and shiney.

But I have a looming fear... Viz isn't the least bit opposed to working with KWB. Mar could be the blocks next anime. They need to replace YGO afterall.

Actually... Mar just might work for Miguzi. I haven't seen enough to say for sure but it looked pretty tame, has some notable female characters and could probably attract an audience similar to those who would watch YGO GX.

But then the question becomes... When does Viz plan to release the series? It took them forever and a day to get Recca on the shelves.
