The last time I was here Bruce Timm was saying they were trying to get this movie off the ground. The return of the Justice Lords as The Crime Syndicate.
Any updates on this anyone?

It was put on hold, and now, unfortunately, looks like it will never happen. Real shame. :(

I don't know, but it seems like for the last year or so, CN and WB have almost been TRYING to hide JL and JLU, despite good ratings and all that jazz. Maybe they think everyone will be too stupid to not get this continuity confused with TB's (that was the reason for the Bat-Embargo, I think). The president of CN himself also said that JLU's look was "dated." I'm sure he'd rather have more fake anime. It seems to me they sort of want to get JL over with or something and it's still being on (at very inconvenient times with no advertising) is almost like an obligatory service to the fans. This might have something to do with them halting production on the movie.

Bruce Timms style is ageless and has been going strong for years.
I cant belive that statment,, Im glad we in canada got YTV they promote the episodes like mad and they are the biggest hit on that channel. If only YTV was a bigger worldwide network.:crying:
Sad days when the president of CN says something that makes us all want to up chuck our luckys.

Well he's a moron then. Put it on Adult swim if he thinks its dated. Venture Brothers and many others strive for a dated look. And they can run almost any story they want then too.

The reason why CN hasn't said anything about JLU is probably b/c it was only for 2 weeks, when it comes back for good I'm sure they have commericals for it all over the place. The movie was never made because there was no time for the JLU crew to make it on how they were making episodes of JLU at the time, I wouldn't be surpise though if the movie gets made once this season is over with.

The Justice Lords don't deserve to be reduced to crime syndicate of amerika moralty levels.

This (http://jl.toonzone.net/episodeC/episodeC.htm) should answer your questions about World's Collide, the as-yet-unmade-but-maybe-someday Justice League DTV. And, just for the record, the Crime Syndicate would be totally different from the Justice Lords.

Great movie. Anywhoo, I'm just happy to see the JL on t.v. it's really a well done show. A movie would be great but unfortunately, those guys over at warner bros. have their heads stuck up their collective hinnies. They don't even know that they are sitting on a potential goldmine.

I hope it gets made, too. Would like to see a CSA appearances. I do wonder which version the JLU creative team were leaning towards, though.:)

Yo, quit the batman bashing! Oh and that little joke you made sucks worse....
Anyway, the movie sounds interesting, I always thought Wonder Womans jet was just a cloked javalin, though to be honest I don't really care where it came from.

God, I hope this gets made someday! Same here it would be sooo cool,, I would like the art to be like the cat and the canary episode the animation in that ep was the best out of any of the episodes.
I bet if they released it in theaters it would be huge becouse all the kids would want to see it and bring their parents along not to mention all the adults that love the show would go.
They sooo need to do it.

I think it will get made someday. It is on hold but it is not officially dead. I agree that a theatrical release would rock.

If the upcoming Superman DTV is any indication, we should never give up hope that future DTV's won't be made. DTV's are a hot commodity for studios and depending on how the feature films and television goes, we could still see any number of DTVs down the line.

Same here. Too bad it'll probably never happen.:(

I think we will see some JLU DTDvD in the near future. It might not be When World's Collide, but it could always be something else. I remember BT saying he has a back story to who WW got the invisible plane.

Hmmm.
So we have another theatrical Batman film that was good(Batman Begins), a new Superman film(Superman Returns) then a new Superman DTV is coming...
A Wonder Woman film is in the works..
If all 3 of those hit maybe they will make a JL feature film and then we will get the DTV...in 2012.
They're working on a Flash movie too. http://www.hyperborea.org/flash/movie.html

Or in time for the Near Apocalypse of '09...:p
Hmmm... b.t. says that they had the cast ready... I wonder if they have the Leaguers voicing their counterparts, eg:
George Newburn as Ultraman
Kevin Conroy as Owlman
etc, etc.
But I guess that would be too close to Justice Lords though, eh?

Ah... Linda Carter as Superwoman, too. Maybe put Burt Ward in there, too.

If I remember correctly the back story as to how she got her jet was in "World's Collide."

Yes but I don't think that movie will be in continuity with the Justice League Flash. I kind of hope it will be.
