I will, once again, be YOUR sinister Moderator who will guiding you through the bizare and odd for Octobers activity...

The DB October Trick or Treat Jam - 2005!

Here is how this evil, devilish idea works, my little spectres...

Sign up begins now and ends on Monday, October 3rd at 11:59PM EST.

How do you sign up you ask? Well that is simple my little devilish imps of absolute terror! E-mail me your idea of for a character to use (1 per person, please) to outlander00@toonzone.net . Your idea submission also counts as your participation in this trip through this pumpkin patch from hell, so if you dont want to do a pic, Dont enter an idea! In the chance multiple people enter similar ideas, the first one submitted will count and the other people will be asked to submit a new character idea.

An example of a character idea would be:
Batman

Once the crypt doors are closed to submissions into the underworld, all entry ideas will be randomized with participants will receive their assignments via e-mail October 5th by 11:00PM EST the latest. As I said, Whoever enters an idea has to do a pic.

Once you receive your assignments, the idea is devilishly simple: Draw your assigned character dressed up as something (or someone) else!

Example... using the idea from above:
Batman as Superman

All finished pieces must be completed and e-mailed back to me by Friday, October 28th at 11:59 PM!! Once I received them all, they will be resurrected in a thread the last weekend in October, just in time for Holloween!!

the regular Batman and yes you have to make sure the character IS identifiable (i.e. He has to be in his costume).

so batman has to technically be in 2 costumes. if somebody suggested to you "bruce wayne", then your drawing would be bruce in a costume instead of batman in a costume

my assignment is... interesting. a little old school and a blast from the past, but if somebody wants to see the character dressed up, then so be it :)
