Now, I know I waited too long to post this, but here goes anyways...
I was looking around ebay a few weeks ago and came upon a European (?) issue of Batman Adventures up for bid. I checked it out, and though it was called The Batman Adventures (animated logo and all), it was as "Annual" featuring stories about Two-Face and Poison Ivy. I instantly wondered if these were simply European printings of the Two-Face and Ivy issues in TBA's American run, or perhaps new stories all together...
I have been trying to get my hands on every animated comic story, from The Batman/Superman Magazine to Adventures in the DC Universe, concerning the animated Dark Knight and animated Superman. Did you guys know that a while after B:TAS and TBA's success, DC published a few animated Superman-style things, from books with read-along cassettes (saw those with my own two eyes in Virginia) to stickers, before Dini and Timm came out with the offical S: TAS?
Well, I am not looking for information on any imitation B: TAS or S:TAS comic stories, but that ebay sighting got me thinking. Were there stories published solely in the UK that we in N.A. haven't had a chance to read, yet that still follow animated contuinty? What do you guys know about these types of things? Are they carbon copies/reprintings of the original TBA stories??? Do tell.....
