Here's some good news regarding the futures of Heat and Velocity from wwe.com:

Monday Night RAW isn't the only WWE show that is moving.

Starting next weekend, both HEAT and Velocity will now be available to watch on WWE.com. The VOD-style programs available to residents of the United States will still feature the same great original matches. In addition, however, each show will also have unique content never before seen on the program.

So be sure to log onto WWE.com next Friday afternoon to watch the inaugural edition of HEAT on the Internet. Then watch Velocity on Saturday morning, starting at 10 a.m. ET.
That's very good news for those who get wwe.com. I'm curious as to what other features will take place on these shows.

I'm hoping for something like the old "From the Vault" that was Confidential. Maybe each show getting a classic WWF/WWE, WCW, or ECW match.

Also wouldn't mind if each just dropped the recap portions as well.

Seems like a good idea, but I'm praying it's not a pay service.

It's not as good as TV, but I'm still happy they aren't just being dropped. HEAT has been a part of WWE television since 1998 and it was weird thinking it wouldn't be around anymore. I had trouble always remembering to go watch iMPACT! on-line and I hope the same thing doesn't happen here.

This probably puts the fears of those waiting for their chance on RAW and SmackDown! to rest, but at the same time, if WWE needs to make a cut, I would expect that HEAT and Velocity would be the first things to go.

Also wouldn't mind if each just dropped the recap portions as well.It seems like it would be a waste of time to show that stuff now that they don't have to fill up an hour of time. HEAT and Velocity can be as long or as short as they want it to be.

My guess is they'll show the matches that are usually blacked out before and after there regular shows. I'm glad I'll get to see 3 of the WWE's shows now, but I still won't get Smackdown!

My guess is they'll show the matyches that are usually blacked out before and after there regular shows. It should be just like before. They'll have a HEAT taping before RAW and Velocity taping before SmackDown! I don't see why the pre-show dark matches or the "arena bonuses" would now be involved.

No one knows what the "unique content" will be though, so the dark matches could be one possibility. There are many others though.

Lame. Not to be a downer, but this does nothing for me. You see.....I have 56k:sad: I've tried watching stuff on WWE.com before, and it's a total joke on this connection speed. I need to boldly move up into 2000 and get broadband or DSL.

I was realy hoping for the old days of syndication. I miss Jakked/Metal, or even Shotgun Saturday Night. We don't need Bottom Line, or whatever the recap show is, just put the matches on a syndicated show. I'm really concerned about Heat not airing before PPV anymore. That was such a tradition, and it's a shame to see it gone now. Why wouldn't USA at least pick up Heat? They drew decent ratings back in the day (Halftime Heat with Rock/Mankind in an empty arena did pretty good, I think) and I don't think it would be any different now.

i just know that i still miss wrestling challenge and wwf superstars from the good ol' saturday morning wrestling days:crying:

btw, just got done watching the final velocity on spike...not any mention or feel of it being the final airing on spike by the commentators...didn't expect it really, but would of have been cool...and i guess this spells the end of paul london and nunzio's tv wrestling career for a long while lol...

I doubt I will bother to watch most of the time because both shows usually have one decent match a peice. Im sure the WWE will also charge for some media package on the site in the future as well.
