Could I get a little backstory on the new Batgirl? I mean Cassandra Batgirl.

Other information: Batgirl was either bought or kidnapped at birth by the master assassin Cain. He trained her in lethal combat day and night until she escaped from him about nine years ago. She then drifted into Gotham City on her own. She is now living with the former Batgirl, Barbara Gordon. Although she has an incapacity to speak, she is able to understand what people mean by their body movements and facial expressions. This ability allows her to be highly efficient in combat since she can anticipate her opponents' moves before they are executed. Recently, she has also learned to understand English.

[The Guard]

There is footage of a young girl that looks like Cassandra murdering a drug lord.

Batman, however DENIES this, as he investigated the murder. Whatever he found, and his confrontation with David Cain, convinced him that Batgirl is NOT a murderer. Possible blindspot here, as Batman may just not want to believe it...Batgirl seems to have a death wish, and a year ago, challenged Lady Shiva to a death match, which will happen soon.

Also, Cassandra is slowly learning to talk. She can make herself understood via words now.
