how much is the batman beyond batman beyond property

I can see from this board that a lot of us are going to be rich, or going to be animators... so i was just wondering... how much money would it take to buy the rights to "batman beyond" if we wanted to produce our own cartoons... yeah they wouldn't be timm, quality, but we could finally make our own stories continuity... :D

Since Batman is owned by DC Comics which in turn is owned by AOL Time Warner, I would have to say it would be virtually impossible.

I doubt WB/AOL/Time Warner would ever sell off the rights to any Batman character, dead to them or not. If they did, it would be a package deal, and unless you turn into the next Bill Gates, I doubt you'd beable to afford the package that would likely contain every other DC and DC related character in history.

I would like to have my DTV plot "Chaos Apcoaclypse" used by WB and DC but yeah I doubt that will happen so I am starting my new DTV, no title yet but its a aged bruce vs. youthful ras
