Yes! First post! :D
Anyway, here's the main points I noticed:
-The infamous Tarnachula battle from the Summer Kick Off. Wierd way to begin an episode, but oh well.
-Jeremy's voice has gotten ten times more dorky and ten times more annoying. It's kinda painful to listen to, actually.
-Yay, Aelita joins the school! That was what I was hoping for since the end of season one!
-William, the dark-dressed rebel, partnered with Yumi. At last Ulrich has competiton, and this one isn't afraid to tell how he feels, which means that Ulrich is kinda outclassed so far.
-Nicholas is a dumb as ever, I see.
-OK, William is now freaking me out. "Completely insane"?!
-Awwoooooo, werewolves of london! Wonder what that wolf is for anyways...
-The visions of Aelita and the old guy freaked me out. Who is that geezer?! Is he Lyoko's creator, Dr. Hopper? I HAVE TO KNOW! ...Sorry.
-Killed by heat? Come on, XANA, you can do better than that.
-A story moral presented...Never, and I mean NEVER go shopping on a field trip!
-And at last, two problems presented that this season has to solve: the mystery of Aelita's visions, and the love triangle between Ulrich/Yumi/and William.

*delighted*
My story is now a full Alternate Universe and things couldn't be better. :P

Here is my take on it, Aelita have been on earth before with the scientist/creator of code lyoko the one and only Franz Hopper. I think she was traped in Lioko and lost her memmory. That is the only explanation of her visions, she was a earthling at some point. Atleast i think she was. Very cool monsters, and not invincible. very nice vehicles. And how convinient, A super tower scanner and a pink cellphone. XANA used to need things to infect to do damage, now he can levitate things. That makes him a whole lot nastier.

That's what I think to, but what's her relation to him? Daughter, grandaughter, lab assistant, what? We can only speculate.

Oh and they actualy mentioned Ulrich's last mane Stern and Elizabeth "Sissy" Delmas. And we met Ulrich's rival for Yumi. loosk like its not just Sissy anymore.

His name is William, aka the dark-dressed rebel, aka the guy who goes "completely insane" over love.
Let's just hope Ulrich, Yumi, William, and Sissy never get together in the same place. It would not be pretty.

New Order / Enemies: Tarantula x2
Odd
Kills: 1 - Tarantula
Deaths: 1 - Tarantula
Ulrich
Kills: 0
Deaths: 1 - Tarantula
Yumi
Kills: 0
Deaths: 1 - Tarantula
the vehicles will have to prove themselves but the first new monster already has. those Tarantulas are full of life points and their weak spot seems really difficult to hit  the end of last season left us with Aelita only being able to come to earth for only little bits at a time but things change and now she can live there full time :) sadly one thing that hasn't changed is Ulrich & Yumi's status :( anyway this was a very good start to the new season!

-Killed by heat? Come on, XANA, you can do better than that.
Hey cut the evil OS a break will ya? The dude's used up alot of his creativity in the first season. Besides, if the teddy bear incident has taught something, it's that when something new is being set up in the story, XANA's attacks become a bit less creative.
A few things:
-I think Odd is spending one to many solo missions to Lyoko. No I'm talking about this fight. I'm talking about how much Aelita's attitude was similar to his this time around.
-Apparently Odd does had rapid fire capabilities. Something I failed to notice in those screenshots: Apparantly Jeremy reloaded 10,000 of things for him.
-God, the animation and resolution are ten times smoother than before eh?
-"The Hermitage"......for an old, creepy, abandoned house, it sure has a nice design. And...a bit of Aelita's past thrown in for good measure. Nice...
-A couple of flaws from last season's continuity: Apparently, the lie they're using about Aelita being Odd's cousin is changed. Maybe I heard things but I swear she said she came from Canada this time around. What happened to Holland?
-Apparantly the Tarantula's AREN'T like bosses. They're more like sub-bosses. Still strong. Odd has to empty a full pack of arrows just to take out one.
-Oh god do love that new music. Especially the new "virtualization" track.:D
All in all: Lyoko's still got it!:D :D :D

I loved hearing their last names mentioned.
I feel sorry for Odd. Don't ask.
And Aelita-- if she's related to him by blood, where'd the pink hair come from?
...Meh, whatever. I get free reign in fanfiction now.
(Where'd you guys first find out about Hopper, anyway? I just heard of him from here.)

-Jeremy's voice has gotten ten times more dorky and ten times more annoying. It's kinda painful to listen to, actually. Yes, I felt it was better in the very first episodes and was a mistake to change it. It does in fact sound lower than ever. It will take some getting used too again.
-OK, William is now freaking me out. "Completely insane"?! This bothered me as well, "stalker alert". Yumi's not used to dealing with alot of people, crazies least of all. Posters for "love" (they're in jr high, this sounds a little deep) that get you thrown out of school? That's bizare.
-The visions of Aelita and the old guy freaked me out. Who is that geezer?! Is he Lyoko's creator, Dr. Hopper? I HAVE TO KNOW! ...Sorry. Yes, I believe this old guy is Franz Hopper, creator of XANA/Lyoko.
I may be reading more detail than they intend. But Aelita was wearing the same clothes in her vision. This says to me that it is not visions of the past.
Overall impression, cute, funny and still holding with the main themes that I liked. The animation has changed both 2D and Virtual. Both are a little brighter and have more movement, especially in the faces. I really liked Aelita getting the Tarantula's atttention with "did you miss me?" and adding a little wink. Reminisent of her little wave and "bye-bye" to the falling crab in season one. The high speed of the new vehicles is going to be interesting, especially in the forest region. No hint yet whether flying ones can cross open spaces between platos. Yumi and Ulrich's weapons are really showing a disadvantage, hope that improves.
They went all out to use the last names of the main characters, but "Stones"??? Oh-nO [/lol] XANA is now a poltergiest? That attack seemed a little simple. It's supposed to be improving exponentually.
For afirst show trying to fill in alot of information quickly, it did well and still had a good story. Season two still holds promise. :D

Too deep for Jr. High? You're kidding, right?
Wow... absolutely loved this episode. So many things left unanswered... and all new stuff too! (XANA's a little more violent this season...)
So... the new guy... what does this make it? A love square? (Ulrich-Yumi-Sissi-William)
Speaking of which, Will really really got on my nerves. First was his meddling between Ulrich and Yumi, and then it was his making it totally obvious that he was trying too hard (I wouldn't say I'm a rebel... more like rebellious, other stupid stuff, etc)
The Hermitage. Very interesting. Can anyone smell mini-movie?! :anime:
Artemis-- I believe the name Franz Hopper was thrown out on a French website with "spoilers" from Season Two.
-Killed by heat? Come on, XANA, you can do better than that. You know, this episode also served the purpose of reminding people one of the more basic things Code: Lyoko does:
Finding new and exciting opprotunities for fanservice
Among other things.

I dunno...Remember, someone isn't bad just because he gets in the way of a coupling (especially one that hasn't even gone "official" yet due to Ulrich's shyness). You can't really fault him for that. But yes, he is trying way too hard...not just for Yumi, but for love in general. He put posters of love on the wall at his old school; that tells you he goes too out of his way for romance.
But let's give him a chance. Remember, Sissy and Jim didn't make very good first impressions initially, but we've occasionally seen the better sides of them since then. Could be that way with William.

Well, it's been at least a few weeks since the end of the Season One finale. IMO, the gang probably realized that they needed a background for Aelita that was more concrete than the one they threw together when she was first materialized. Canada probably sounded more plausible than Holland.
Or for the short answer, writer/translator error :D
Yes, I believe this old guy is Franz Hopper, creator of XANA/Lyoko.

Well, part of me is leaning towards Aelita's visions being flashes of memory; I could counter the "same clothes" argument by pointing out that EVERYONE in the series has multiple copies of their regular outfits in their closets, even the adults. It's a cartoon tradition ;) So Aelita could very well be remembering something that happened in the past.
Or, on the other hand, the spirit of Franz Hopper, possibly awakened by XANA'S prowlings, could have connected with Aelita and helped her and Odd by showing her that secret passage in a vision.

Same here. Everyone wears the same clothing on CL exept for the very first episode, Teddyzilla. Oh and I remamber that Sissy once wore a yellow shirt with the heart instead of pink. About Aelita's clothing in Code Earth, I think they just wanted to redo her outfit to better suit her.

Wow! By golly! Holy crap!
Okay, I'll stop overreacting now. :p
But seriously... for a show that's been gone for a year, 'Lyoko' drew me back in right from the first second of the opening theme. That's just unbelievable.
I love how they've stepped up the animation budget... Lyoko continues the recent trend of blending 2-D characters even more into 3-D backgrounds.
I love the new diversified music package they have. So many pieces, all mood-appropriate. I'm fearing, though, that music budgets may mean that they've already used a good portion of this season's samples in the first episode alone... so by week's end, we could be hearing pieces for the second or third time already. Which is a shame... since they're so beautifully done.
Everything they've added also seems to be interesting. Aelita having visions of her past. A new boy 'moving in' on Yumi, to Ulrich's disgust. New vehicles vs. new XANA monsters. It's all so good.
You would think I'd be mad at Moonscoop for piling on new mysteries without resolving old ones. At this point, it doesn't seem like a problem... the show kinda takes a 'here's something else to be wowed about' stance. Still, the more they delay the important questions, the more we'll be expecting when it's all revealed.
Regardless, I thank Moonscoop for rewarding the fans' patience and starting off Season 2 on a high point. I hope they can keep it up this entire week!
8 out of 10 for "New Order."

That or she is experiencing someone else's memories that she has been programmed with and mentally inserted her image into the scene; it would seem logical at first to think if your remembering it you must have been there.
I wonder if the writers remember 'Hey, there's a girl that looks exactly like Aelita except for the hair color that also attends that school and she's an orphan with a mysterious past' ?

I'm not sure if it will take a darker turn, but it wouldn't suprise me. I already saw some subtle hints that it may have a more "mature" feel to it. William being kicked out of his last school, Aelita's visions, the very very real tension between Ulrich and Yumi. I loved Yumi's conversations with William. They just seemed so natural and authentic. No extreme-blushing, no cherry-blossoms, no romantic cliche-lines, no sunset, etc. And William himself was actually a very interesting character. Instead of just sending some Don Juan pretty boy in there that exists for no other purpose than to make Ulrich jealous, they actually give us someone that the audience can gain interest in. I personally want to find out more about him, as he apparently had a troubled past.
This is just one of the things I love about this show. Nothing they do is simple or governed soely by conventions or requirements of the 6-14 age demographic. When they could go for easy comic relief or cheap angst, they instead introduce a new element to the show that adds an extra dimension.
This whole episode basically reinforced everything that I love about the show, erased the very few things I didn't like, and even added new good stuff.
The good that's still there: Inspired, well paced writing, great dialogue, superb voice acting (I don't understand everyone's problem with Jeremy), awesome music, and a complete lack of any forced cheesy attempts to appeal to the kid/teen age groups, are all still there.
Bad stuff gone: Lack of continuity between episodes, one-shot characters that were interesting but disappeared (like Sam and Taelia), and excessive use of stock footage were all things that annoyed me about season 1. Here, they've introduced a new plot thread (Aelita's visions) which left me wondering and wanting answers, which they will apparently explore in coming episodes (*prays that the writers address Taelia's existence in some way in the future*). William will be sticking around (as I learned from reading some summaries). And aside from the virtualization scene (which was new this time), the only stock footage I saw was the tower deactivation, and they only showed short snippets of it (about a total of 5 seconds of screen time). And they seemed to have sped up the virtualization scene as well.
New good stuff: New vehicles and monsters were very cool and used very well, enough to garner interest without dominating the episode (which I was afraid they might do for marketing purposes). Aelita's new mystery is very intriguing, as well as the new character William. I can't get enough 2-D Aelita. We have some new music that is very good and fits well with the show. Everyone's mentioned the improved character movement animation in both the 3-D and 2-D parts, but something else that I think deserves mentioning is the backgrounds in the 2-D cells. They're simply marvelous, especially in the woods and the house. And finally the voice acting - Yumi, Ulrich, and Aelita's performances were all really oustanding today, significant improvement over already good performances last season. I'm including this in the "new" column because the actors all sound so comfortable and natural with their roles now, and had several superb moments. Aelita's "Didja miss me?" to the spider monsters is one, and a lot of the moments between Ulrich and Yumi and between Yumi and William had very real sincerity. I admit that at first I didn't like Jeremy's voice either, but it's grown on me and I now accept that as his voice, and his VA (Sharon Mann) sounds more comfortable to me in this episode than at several points last season. Of course Odd is still Odd :) But last season I just couldn't get over how good Ulrich's VA (Barbara Weber-Schaff) was, and now I can't get over how she can actually sound better.
I'm not a rabid fanboy, but I really love this show and have been anticipating season 2 for over a year now. I can honestly say from a critical perspective that not only has it met my expectations, it's pretty much blown them away. I've been a cartoon lover for years before this show was on, and I've seen countless shows from all over the globe. And I can say with complete sincerity that this is one of the best ever. In fact if this new season continues as good as it's started, I would not be exaggerating if I said that this is THE best cartoon currently on US TV that is aimed at a kids audience. And that includes the Japanese stuff. The only thing on right now that might change my mind is Avatar: The Last Airbender on Nick. That's only got 13 episodes so far, and is a completely different genre and style of show, so it's hard to compare. But it also returns from a long (though not as long) hiatus this week, and it's the only thing I've been anticipating as much as Code Lyoko. Remember I'm only talking about shows aimed at a younger audience when I say this (though I honestly think both Lyoko and Avatar are also better than a good percentage of the adult animation on TV right now).
Oh yeah, BTW Aelita's new outfit is very cool :)

Lutochris, I applaud your post. ^^
I agree with the comments about the music and Aelita's past. I believe that they're recurring memories. I also think that the show is taking a slightly more mature turn.
But hmm, Talia. Which, if spelled Taelia, is an anagram for Aelita. I wonder if they're both related to Hopper somehow, and Aelita's design was based off of her-- or perhaps Aelita was once human and related to them, but that //hair color// is a leeetle not-human--
...or perhaps Antefilms/Moonscoop was just bored as 'ell and threw another one-time character in there for the hey of it to jumble up our theories...eh.

*nods* Mm-hm, also good point. Considering that all we know about Aelita's past so far is that she's a computer sprite (to borrow a term from ReBoot), that could be a more likely scenario.
But hmm, Talia. Which, if spelled Taelia, is an anagram for Aelita. I wonder if they're both related to Hopper somehow, and Aelita's design was based off of her-- or perhaps Aelita was once human and related to them, but that //hair color// is a leeetle not-human--
I've always thought that Taelia and Aelita could have been the same person at one point, and that an accident - either in Lyoko or the scanners - split them into two: Taelia, the human girl who knows nothing about Lyoko, and Aelita, the computer sprite with no knowledge about the human world.
Or...if Taelia is related to Hopper somehow...maybe Hopper tried to replace her by creating Aelita in Lyoko, programming her with Taelia's memories.
Okay, I'm getting out of this thread before my brain becomes too conspiracy theory-happy...

That was Aelita's perception of herself in a dream.
THE SECOND SEASON IS SO BADASS. It supercedes the first season by FAR.
That said, here's my take:
-I think that Aelita was designed to guard some piece of information or software- hence, why XANA's after her memories.
-Did she lose any of them? The, er, jellyfish had her in its grasp long enough to do something.
-Sector 5- Carthage- still looks as if it's incomplete, and can only be in existence for short periods of time at a time. Does this mean that it's still in the process of being developed, and is Hopper still alive and kicking behind the scenes?
-Not much character interaction in this episode, which was actually partly refreshing. However, I'd like to see the characters of the main four be developed, especially Odd.
-I wish Jeremie weren't so nasal in the English dub...
Oh, and if anyone can get me a clip of the new opening sequence- and perhaps the French ending sequence- I will love you forever.

I think that 5th territory is like a maze and fully controlled by XANA. Jeremy has no control over it, besided letting them get in and out of there. The time clock is like a time trap. I think it was designed for them to be trapped in there indefenetly once the time ran out.

Good theory but the way I see it, Carthage could be one of two other things:
1) It's XANA's base of operations where he's lying in wait for a final showdown.
and
2) It's basically a sanctuary that Franz Hopper has been setting up as a fail safe protocol.
God, now I'm impatient for tommorrow's episode. We're really getting into the big league areas now.:D

I know! She made me SO mad. And I'm normally a Sissi fan. She got dissed in the end tho (is anyone else surprised that CN let the go to hell thing slide?)
Carthage is very, very confusing. Those monsters were awesome/creepy. (Especially the Jellyfish :() Anyways. My theory...
I thought I got it to some degree when I saw that elf-person and Jeremie found that book.. it related to how they're always calling Aelita Princess. Mabye Hopper set up Lyoko to be like a sort of mideival fantasy land or.. something.
XANA's trying to stop Aelita from having visions, there's something very very important about them.. I'm sure of that.

I like how they kept the XANA theme while Aelita was being chased by blocks today. We most likely have heard the freater part of this seasons music.I believe season 1 had about three or four basic music themes, so I don't expect more than that this season. It was good, but so different, it will take me awhile to get used too.
Much of the mysteries they are exploring this season are a result of their reading the questions and speculations of the fans directly from different forums. To me, actually seeing this process of the creators using the input of show fans is absolutely amazing.
William himself was actually a very interesting character. Instead of just sending some Don Juan pretty boy in there that exists for no other purpose than to make Ulrich jealous, they actually give us someone that the audience can gain interest in. William definitely has much more depth than Theo from season 1. The part of when he meets Ulrich for the first time was great. Right from the start we know he thinks of Ulrich as a rival.
Everyone's mentioned the improved character movement animation in both the 3-D and 2-D parts, but something else that I think deserves mentioning is the backgrounds in the 2-D cells. There is definitely a multi dimention to the back grounds. I'm wondering iif they are using digital animation or just how they've added this new effect.
One question that I'm wondering after seeing this...who the heck was the elf-guy in the beginning? Is he just some random vision guy? Or maybe he's "Mister Puck" from the episode of the same name.
And who else thinks that whatever little tolerance Sissy and Odd had for each other is gone? The two of them are now literatelly throwing insults back and forth, Odd even came close to saying "Hell" this time around! Seriously, they're starting to freak me out as much as William did last epidode! I never felt Odd and Sissi had any tolerance for each other. They've never spent two seconds together without fighting.
Today's episode is even more confusing. Why is Aelita dreaming at all yet, let alome of wolves and elves. There seems to be a central theme developing from the point in the woods when Jeremie tells her monsters exist only in faerie tales. They are giong someplace with this, I just can't think where.
The fifth territory, now I don't really have enough info to form conclusions, just speculation. But, it just doesn't feel like XANA. The monsters moving away, the time limit, and the interest directly in Aelita's memory, tells me this is an area that is separate from Aelita/XANA/Lyoko. But I'll just have to wait and see.

I agree with the first one, but it cant be a sanctuary that is infected with the strongest creatures. If Franz Hopper would have created something like that, there is a low chance of ZANA hacking it. How do you even know that XANA made those? For all we know, Franz has been secretly stealing XANA's designs for use as his own security guards. :D

Yeesh...no offense, but don't you think it's kinda hypocriphal to hate someone for being mean and yet wishing "something painful" to happen to them at the same time? I hated what Sissy did to poor Aelita too, but let's be sensible here. If you really enjoyed someone getting excrutiatingly painful torture, then you'd pretty much be no better than they are (actually, you'd probably be worse...)
So, as for you question, the answer is no, I would not want to kill Sissy. Murder isn't on her hands, so I sure as heck wouldn't want it to be on mine!
How do you even know that XANA made those? For all we know, Franz has been secretly stealing XANA's designs for use as his own security guards. :D
Considering Franz is alive. It's possible that he is and I'm kinda hoping he is. But if he was killed by XANA, it would be kind of ironic seeing as he created XANA in the first place.

By the looks of it, it was meant to be a castle, or a city of some sort, but it was never completed. (And that's why it's not connected to the other areas)

I think it was designed to be a maze and to ne confusinh. I don't think that its not complete. its like a giant trap. i think if time ran out and the gand didn't make it out of there in time they would have been stuck there. And even Jeremy would not be of much help.

YES!
Interaction between Sissy and Aelita! Just what I hoped would happen during this new season. It was bound to start off wrong with Sissy usually saying/doing something mean. To be fair though, we have seen Sissy's good side at times in the past. Wonder if we'll see Sissy taken into the gang's confidence sometime this season (like Jim in the last two eps of Season 1).? Anyway, it'll be fun to see the relationship (or lack thereof) between those two.

If it's true that the creators of the show are being influenced by fan speculations in online forums, that's awesome! The result is a show that not only pleases fans from a character and story standpoint, but also challenges them intellectually. Can't wait for today's episode!

*twitches* Mad Mod, it's called venting . . . if Sissi was a real person, I wouldn't want to kill her. Maybe smack her upside the head a few times, but a brat like that isn't worth going to jail for. But, Sissi's not real, so I can say what I want.
And I certainly hope she doesn't get to join the gang, she doesn't deserve it.

See that is what I mean, Sissy is not bitter because the CL gang did something to her in the past so she is mean to them in return. She is always that way because she is a brat. Aelita did not deserve the Sissy treatment. But Aelita is a quick learner and will learn to repel Sissy soon enough.

Yumi is in love with Ulrich Its official. Also sector 5 is XANA's home, just as I figured. The creepers are powerfull. I think that the Jellyfish is XANA. And time machine can be activated through the computer, it has nothing to do with aa deactivated tower. They use it at will to erace memmory. Oh and a new creature apeared, I will dub it "Stingray" *Petend pending*. They now have a dematerialization from sector 5 but they still were demarerialized from the forest region, weird. i think that Xana is represented by the Jellywish monster, destroy it, destroy the Xana virus.

This had many great points:
1) More of Yumi's relation with her parents. We saw back in Season One that it wasn't a very good one, here we see them try to improve it.
2) More of Sector 5, which has been revealed to be XANA's home (although that was kinda obvious from last episode, it just seemed like a "XANA" place.)
3) The adult team-up of Mr. Delmas, Jim, and Yumi's parents, with Sissy helping her old man out at one point.
4) Kiwi the "traitor". I thought it was funny, I guess Odd was right in "New Order" about Kiwi being not too smart. The poor dog can't even make up his mind about people! Yesterday he hated Sissy, now he's fine with her? For the whole trip he was fine with Jim, then half-way though he tore off his slipper?
5) The brief showdown between Jim and Jeremy, which ended in Jim going into the supercomputer room again, Jeremy reminding him he's been there before, and then all-of-a-sudden using the "return to the past" thing.
Out of all this, I'd say the most important thing is that we now have confirmation that XANA lives in Sector 5 and that it holds everything about him that we need to know. It will be a mircale if XANA survives this season now...

About region 5. it is inside a sphere. It has 4 tunnels, each leading to a diferent region. I wonder how much Aelita learned from Xana in his interphase and I wonder how much memory Xana sucked out of Aelita today. if it continues, Aelita will have nothing left. the buttons are in a hard to find places and the Lasers were a nice touch. I thought they would trigger a trap or something but they are actual lasers. I wonder what would happan if the time ran out, they would be trapped forever? So every time the button is pressed, the region changes, interesting.

I just hope that they find a new villain to take over once XANA's deleted from existance. Because really, if this show was supposed to last as your usual 2 Season, 52+ Episodes type show, then they'd slap it on for weekends not weekdays. Seriously, the more I like about the show, the more I worry that it's going to end prematurely for a weekday program.
And I certainly hope she doesn't get to join the gang, she doesn't deserve it.
Well not with that attitude she's been carrying around since the beginning. I do seem to think that waaaaaaay back in episode 3, she said she wanted to be recognized as a member of the gang and if The Trap was any indication, it's that Sissy DOES have a kind heart piled under all those layers of "spoiled brat" syndrome.
She's really just being mean out of jealousy and quite possibly anger towards the gang for not seeing her "gentle" side or something like that.
Man was today ever worth the wait and it sure brought back old refferences to last season. Namely Sissy revealing the truth about Kiwi and Jim's little hero roles in Code:Earth and False Start. Love the idea that Jeremy can pull off the return trip at will. As long as it doesn't screw up the space-time continium. And we learn a few more things about some characters: Namely that Yumi has a brother and that Jim was previously a sewer worker.:D
For such a dull looking fortress, XANA really packed the video game nods in big time. Just seeing them get through that area gave me a big Zelda-vibe for some reason.
God, this feels like I'm watching something that airs on Toonami every Sat. night for something that comes on Mon-Fri. Let's keep up the good work AnteFilms.

Liking season 2 so far better than season 1. Just one question... at the end of season 1, they materialized Aelita, but the virus that linked her to Lyoko prevented them from just shutting down Lyoko, cuz it would kill her if they did, right? Then in the first ep of season 2, Jeremie said he made an antivirus so she could stay in the real world full time... so I was wondering why they don't just shut down Lyoko now. But then today, they said they still didn't have an antivirus to solve that problem... so what was the antivirus that Jeremie was talking about in Monday's episode?
As for the music... when I watched the first season the first time, there were no lyrics with the music, but I downloaded a French version of the song "Un Monde Sans Danger," but later during reruns of season 1, and now in season 2, they're singing the English version, "A World Without Danger." I like it, but I still prefer the French version. Of course, I also recently downloaded an English version that sounds like a completely different artist and sounds really lame. I'd kind of like to find an mp3 of the actual artist doing the English version. But I probably wouldn't keep it anyway.
Well I probably had more to say but I forgot because the admins here took so long to activate my account, what's up with that huh?

Man, there were so many close calls in this episode I almost thought it was gonna be a two-parter! First Odd and Ulrich disappearing, then the adults almost finding out . . . I thought they'd end up having to explain everything right there.
*reads the badly translated episode description* Oooh, and tomorrow looks like even more fun. Xana may be at a slight disadvantage with the discovery of Sector 5, but it looks like he's way more powerful than anyone seems to think, so that sort of balances it out.

You mean you don't know/remember? At the end of Season 1, they finally materialize Aelita only to find out that at the last second, XANA injected a virus into her system that links her to him. In other words you pull the plug on XANA, you pull the plug on Aelita. That's what they're trying to resolve before the final face off with the big guy.

Jeremie developed a new warning program to alert them to an activated tower. So Aelita doesn't have to stay on Lyoko to watch for XANA tremors. The antivirus is yet to be found.
I liked the new involvment of Yumi's family to an extent. It takes away the feeling of coldness that I believed was part of her personality, so that will take alittle getting used too. I never really liked Kiwi, now he leads adults right to the factory the little furbrain. This show didn't really feel more than a filler episode, but it had a few cute details to make it interesting.
WoW, I was wondering if they completely lost the RTTP advantage,,, now Jeremie can start it at any time??? Where did that come from???
And when did Yumi get a little brother??? What a waste of time that seems like. Anyone want to bet he's trouble, waiting to make Yumi's trips to Lyoko difficult?

Okay... catching up after forgetting to review yesterday...
"Unchartered Territory" (7.5 out of 10):
- Wow, that's just evil on Sissi's part to pawn Aelita into going into the boys' bathroom. It's different, though... usually, it's a boy going into the girls' room. :p
- I know Aelita's new to our world and stuff, but you'd think at least somebody (student or teacher) would at least be kind enough to guide her through the lunch line. Man, those kids are mean. Oh... and on that note... has she even eaten anything once since materializing in the real world?
- So this is the mysterious 5th Sector everyone was talking about. New creatures, and a timer that changes its layout ever so few minutes? Not to mention Jeremy's troubles getting the others to Aelita. Just what dangers does this place really hold?
"Exploration" (8 out of 10):
- I liked Ulrich's worries about feeling an urgency to pull XANA's plug, but it felt weird that Odd had to remind him that XANA is still connected to Aelita!
- And speaking of fun lines, I loved it when Jeremy asked Odd if he studied for their microbiology test, and Odd responds with basic knowledge... fish are natural to water, and can swim! That was just so hilarious! :D
- Nice to see Yumi's parents again, but at least now they're bonded again... in their quest to figure up what's with their daughter, anyway. And since when did Yumi have a younger brother?
- And speaking of Yumi... I know she's stressed out from being kept under her parents' watchful eye and from worrying about the others in Lyoko... but is soaking in the tub absolutely appropriate for the situation?
- Oh, and one more Yumi-ism... props to showing her and her dad playing Go! (People who read 'Hikaru No Go' in Shonen Jump know what I'm talking about.)
- So the 5th Sector, aka Carthage, is XANA's home, huh? Figures he'd make something that twisted. But Aelita for the moment gives the away team the advantage, as she hacks into XANA's database.
- Something that bothered me... during the escape, Yumi gets zapped by those stingrays, but... Aelita didn't seem to have much of a reaction, and even worse, the stingrays didn't try to go after her! What's up with that?
- Smart moves by Sissi and Jim in the closing acts, guiding the 'search party' to The Factory. But the smartest move goes to Jeremy, who reminds Jim of his heroics at the end of last season... and then promptly hits the 'return to the past' button.
- On one more odd note... we didn't get any of the character bumpers today, did we?
- And speaking of Yumi... I know she's stressed out from being kept under her parents' watchful eye and from worrying about the others in Lyoko... but is soaking in the tub absolutely appropriate for the situation?Yes, because we all know that most of the characters on this show (especially Yumi) hate clothing.
Anyhow, it took a whole season to answer, but apperently, the RttP can be used at any time. I wonder, can they not use it when Xana has an active tower? Otherwise, they could have saved themselves a LOT of greif.

That's because what we normally see is CN looking for ratings, where Antefilms is a small producer watching French (not the US forums) fans and finding a direction for a show that seems to have been created with viewer input in mind. Odd's last name is Della Robia. The others are Ulrich Stern, Jeremie Belpois, and Yumi Ishiyama. Sissi's name is really Elizabeth Delmas, but apparently she hates being called Elizabeth.
As far as the vehicles go, give Jeremie a break! He just finished making them, and they still aren't perfect yet. The one that Yumi uses is called the Overwing.
You know what I like best about this show? The complete and total disregard for the TV-Y7 rating. Just in this week alone, we've had the following lines:
Odd: (referring to William) "He got kicked out of his last school. He's really cool!"
Yes that's right kids. If you want your friends to think you're cool, do something to get kicked out of school!
Odd: (to Aelita) "And I can teach you plenty of ways to tell Sissi to go to..."
I really wanted him to finish this line.
Yumi: "Well, I'm in love."
Yumi's Dad: "Aww, my dear Yumi."
So let me get this straight, Yumi was staying out late, lying to her parents, and sneaking out in the middle of the night, right? Furthermore, she's a teenager who hangs out with a group of kids who, according to Jim, are always up to no good. If this was your teenage daughter, and her explanation for all of this was "I'm in love", would this ease your fears, or make them worse?
Now as for theories, I think we've heard them all, but what if Xana wasn't trying to steal something concrete from Aelita's memory? What if he was trying to get the sum of her experiences as a human being? Remember in Ghost Channel from season 1, Jeremie said that Xana's knowledge of humans was only theoretical, which was why he was able to make a pretty good copy, but not good enough to fool Yumi's, Odd's, and Ulrich's instincts. Maybe he figures if the can truly understand humans, like Aelita does, he will have the knowledge he needs to defeat them.

IMO, I never really cared for CL until the last few episodes of S1. It seemed like just a "virus of the week" thing with no real progression until then.
But S2 so far is great, each ep is building upon the one before and new things are being discovered all the time. If one of the fans' suggestions was plot progression, I`m glad they took it.

Odd: (referring to William) "He got kicked out of his last school. He's really cool!"
Yes that's right kids. If you want your friends to think you're cool, do something to get kicked out of school!Yeah, that was an Odd line alright. That's the kind of backwards thinking that corrupts America's youth! :p
It would make them worse if I were her parents. I mean, unless they've picked up on the subtle hints of her liking Ulrich (or William), maybe their fears would be rested a little. But still, I'd at least be worried what Yumi was actually doing while out. Who knows what tweens/teens will do while their out on the town dating? ;)

They just showed my favorite media Minidisc Player. Yumi has two fans now, and Ulrich has some new moves, super sprint, and spinning attack.
Xana can controll Humans now. now he is a real polterguist, posseses people and levitates objects. Skipazoa (jellyfish) is in the mountain region now. and the stingrays are called manta rays for some reason.

This is the best episode by far! Great points:
-Sissy actually outsmarting Jeremy by posting Herb and Nicholas as guards. I guess she isn't as dumb as they give her credit for.
-XANA's "Return to the Past" spree. It was hilarious seeing Yumi with her dad at morning each time, Odd "becoming a genius", and Ulrich's attempts to foil Sissy's plan (especially the second one, when he tells her Jeremy and Aelita have gone insane! :D )
-XANA can possess people now! He is becoming more of a threat than ever.
-The Jellyfish?! Outside of his territory?! And he gets away yet again. He is really hell-bent on draining Aelita's memories.
-Sissy vs. Ulrich in a duel. Ironically, the main reason Ulrich lost seems to be because Sissy's body got stronger with each of the martial arts sessions he offered her! With XANA at the wheels, Sissy actually kicked his...well, you know.
-The ending. The gang now knows the consequences of returning to the past, and now they've been put in a position where XANA has them right where he wants them.
Odd taking advantage of the repeated days has got to be the funniest thing yet this season :p
Agreed! Like I said, the entire "Return to the Past" spree was hilarious!

Creeper x1Uh don't you mean Tarantula? The Creepers are the big snake things in Carthage not the "grievous" bots as I used to call them.
God did today's fight scenes really rock or what? Tons of good stuff, Ulrich tossing his sword into the wall and Odd hanging off of it and shooting down those two hornets, Yumi pulling those two fans out and cutting the Tarantula's arm cannons off, really good teamwork situations there. Sissy's XANA-fied voice sounded really really creepy. Is this guy scary or what?

WoW, Now that was an episode. Great Lyoko battle action, they really have improved. More "pink" :anime:. XANASissi exists, and it/she is better at kendo than Ulrich. I always felt he studies the wrong style in the "real". That whole episode was wAy cool.
Aelita doesn't have a vehicle. She uses the one that was made for Yumi. Anyone ramamber how she called it? Over... something. The overwing. Doesn't have anything like a wing anywhere on it, but ok, it needed a name.

Just realized that even though the tape was destroyed (thank you, XANA!....What am I saying?!) and Sissy's blackmail threat foiled, she still remembers that Aelita isn't really Odd's cousin (and if not, Herb and Nicholas could remind her.) Speaking of which, Jeremy yelled "SISSY'S POSSESED BY XANA!" in front of them. No time jump, which means that they'd remember that!
Sissy's XANA-fied voice sounded really really creepy. Is this guy scary or what?
Horrifying! Definately reminded me of his "real voice" back in "Ghost Channel", only it was Sissy's since he was using her body. But all the same, XANA is a very scary villain.

I dunno what Ulrich was thinking when he jumped on the manta ray and destroyed it. what he heck did he think would happen then? that was kinda stupid, he's lucky Odd caught him.
But really it was a great episode. But I also hope Sissi never joins the group. That'd make about as much sense as Mandy joining WOOHP... oh, wait a minute... Can anyone tell me if they still have a band? I don't remember how that ep from last season ended, did Nicholas actually end up as their drummer, or what? And will we ever again see that DJ Odd likes? And is it just me, or is everyone not saying "huh" very much this season, huh? And I'd really like sometime for Ulrich to tell Sissi, "It's not that I don't find you pretty, Sissi. I wouldn't say the prettiest girl in school, but you're definitely pretty. The reason I'll never go out with you is that I just can't stand you as a person."
Also, what if some of the things the heroes are always stopping, like the Skipizoa or whatever draining Aelita's memories, isn't really bad? I've been hoping that sometime this season they'll gain a new ally in that old professor or whatever... if he's somehow involved with Aelita's past, and he's disappeared, maybe he's trapped on Lyoko, and they could rescue him... and he could help them defeat XANA. But what if he's got no way to communicate, and the skipizoa is actually working for him, and searching for some key in her memory that will help him free himself, or something?

And I wonder when William will show up again. So far, he's only played a big role in "New Order", but we know he's not gone from the story because he got a cameo in "Uncharted Territory" when Yumi sat by him at lunch and they exchanged smiles, showing that they still have unresolved feelings for each other. Maybe in "Mr. Puck" tommorow...but the more pressing question is...WHO IS MR. PUCK?!
or the girl Odd said was in love with JimThat was Emily, and she did appear in "Routine" and Ulrich's "new girlfriend". Other than that, she hasn't appeared again. And speaking of Jim, he's as bad as William in terms of underexposure ever since his shining moment in "False Start". He was great in "Exploration" and I hope we see more of him.

Has it been confirmed in-show that the Skipizoa is stealing Aelita's memories? I mean, Aelita said that that's what the jellyfish thing had been doing, but how would she know if she didn't have those memories anymore? For all we know, the Skipizoa could just be reaching into Aelita's mind and copying her memories, storing them in its own databanks.

Continuity problems... and here I thought we wouldn't have any this season. At the end of Wednesday's episode, Yumi told her parents that she was out with a boy, and they pretty much dropped the subject. But right in the first act of Thursday's episode, her dad asks again why she's been coming home late and deduces she's with a boy. Hmmm...
While one developed, though, another was resolved in the form of the 'return to the past' program. It's been proven that although going back to the past meant the Lyoko gang would have to relive a certain timeframe, at least they knew what to expect and they could turn what was original a bad situation into a good one. Odd is living proof even in this episode of avoiding a disaster in class.
But now the module has a decently obvious drawback that apparently we should've seen coming but didn't... each clock-back makes XANA stronger. That would actually be more conducing as to why the battles get harder with each new trip to Lyoko, as opposed to my original theory of XANA getting stronger because it was angry at its plans always getting ruined.
So we could possibly see the end of the use of that program, 'cept in emergency situations.
In the process, XANA has finally moved on from possessing inanimate objects and animals and onto human beings... case in point, Sissi, who got a rude awakening. This now gives XANA another advantage, the ability to take over any person it seems fit. Granted, it may be limited at first because of it's still getting the kinks out. But the Lyoko gang will have to watch their backs more than ever if they are to survive.
At this point, I would make a fanboyish comment about Sissi... but I'll pass.
But I will say this about her... if there's anything worse than an evil, annoying girl... it's an evil, annoying girl who can outsmart people. Sissi's a major thorn in the gang's side, and I think it's close to the point where they'll either have to get her to join or find some way to get her out of the picture.
8 out of 10 for "A Great Day."

Actually, it was Jeremie who first stated that the Skipizoa stole Aelita's memoeries, in Uncharted Territory. I would be guessing that since Jeremie is a genius and in control of the super calculator which has the potential to access any information about Lyoko, we are to assume he is right. We do that for Batman on Justice League all the time. And if Xana created it, I doubt it would be for anything good.

I like the theme song. It's probably been around for a while but after the initial run of the first season I stopped watching until last week. The opening was originally just instrumental. I should probably track down the French theme song somewhere and give it a listen too.
It's interesting that they changed the rules on the time-jumps (in the past they were always linked to deactivating a tower whether Jeremy hit the button or not, now we've seen Jeremy hit the button without a tower deactivation and a deactivated tower with no time jump), but I guess since they're doing a story arc instead of formulaic episodes now the needs of the plot require more flexibility there. Since they never actually defined all the rules for everything they do get to make these things up as they go along.
Ulrich drives his motor-unicycle off the ledge in Carthage - me: "You moron, your vehicle doesn't fly!" - It flies. - me: "Uhh... never mind then."
Jeremy really needs to make a weapon for Aelita.
And you know, given that they name-dropped "quantum computer" it makes a large amount of sense that repeating a period of time allows Xana greater processing power.

(not mentioning dl) The French theme is very good. For season one the only time that the English version was used was Sunday Miguzi,,, they also added the credit pictures from GarageKids. I read we're missing some good stuff not seeing the real end credit pics from season two.

It is not an 'origin' episode, though. But last year when news of Season 2 beginning production was released, they also said they would make a special (45- or 60-minutes) which would serve as the show's origin story. Truth be told, though... I don't think there's been any updates on that since. So I have no idea if it's already finished and just waiting to premiere somewhere in the world (or has already premiered, though since no one has said anything, most likely not), still in the production stages, or if it's been put on hiatus or cancelled.

I guess it is some sort of a master plan. Maybe Franz hopper developed Aelita as a failsafe in case Xana goes beserk and out of controll. He implaned her with false memories and visions, knowwing that someone would materialze her, and her visions would lead them to Hermitage, to the doll, to the locked and to those discs. yea I know, its a long shot, but its possible. Maybe he created Xana and studied it untill he could no longer controll it so he created a failsafe. Thats my theory.

Today's episode "Mister Puck" (Stupid name, the lil' plush was hardly featured!)
-So I was right about that elf guy in "Uncharted Territory" being Mr. Puck! Ha!
-Poor Aelita, she's making enemies left and right all because of that big bad wolf! (Curses the wolf.)
-And poor Mr. Puck, having to be tossed around in a free-for-all between Sissy, Herb, Nicholas, Ulrich, Odd, and Aelita.
-XANA has possesed Jeremie now...guess he liked the fake Jeremie body he used for himself in "Ghost Channel" alot, eh?
-Last time we got Sissy (XANA) vs. Ulrich, now we have Jeremie (XANA) vs. Odd. Does XANA always have to twist things in his fight. First he used martial arts moves with Sissy, now he's using Emperor Palpatine-esque lightning bolts with Jeremie!
-And that Skipizoa Jellyfish is getting on my LAST nerve! He's become part of the formula now, always having to show up in whichever territory they're in just to drain Aelita of data.
-Jeremie entered Lyoko and we didn't get to see it?! WHAT A JIP! But the ending with P-O'd Jeremie was funny.
Overall, a pretty good episode. Personally, I think it's the weakest of this week's five, but it scores major points just for the fact that XANA once again goes "face-to-face" with the heroes.

The battle this time ties with yesterday in terms of how much it rocked. I was beginning to wonder why Ulrich hasn't been pulling off his good old Triplicate moves. Just seeing her create that ice slope and blocking that shot aimed at Yumi's backside was just....well cool. And that's not mentioning Yumi using her levitation skills on her fan like that. What, no one likes my theory?

Nice episode for today. The fact that "Mr. Puck" was the figure being chased by the wolves in Aelita's dreams/visions was pretty obvious, but I was surprised when he turned out to be just a simple doll. I wonder if Mr. Puck was a partial inspiration for Aelita's Lyoko avatar, given her vaguely elvish features.
Dang, but Jeremie's viscious when he's possessed by XANA!
-Jeremie entered Lyoko and we didn't get to see it?! WHAT A JIP! But the ending with P-O'd Jeremie was funny.
Why do I have this funny feeling that Jeremie's Lyoko avatar might have resembled Mr. Puck?

Hmmm could be. Funny thing is, I could've sworn Jeremy's virtual form was set to the default settings in Frontier and Ghost Channel, and that if he were to transfer himself to Lyoko, he'd look no different than he does now. I guess they went back and customized it.
I wonder if Mr. Puck was a partial inspiration for Aelita's Lyoko avatar, given her vaguely elvish features.
Just reading that, I can't help but think Franz has another virtual lifeform similar to Aelita based completely off of Mr. Puck from head to foot and that he's somewhere trying to communicate with Aelita with these visions.

That or he read the some spoilers.
Nope, I created the Sissi possessed pic way back in August 2004. It is up at Club Lyoko in the FILES or PHOTOS section. Of course I had the XANA symbol on her forehead.

Hmmm... I wonder if the real spelling of the jellyfish monster is Schizizoa? Since it absorbs memories (or destroys minds) it could be a name that has to do with the mental disease schizophrenia.
Liking what I see so far on Season Two. Hate the fact that Sissi keeps losing developement due to the time reset. Love the fact that they really don't want to use the time reset anymore. I always hated that since it took so much drama out of the show when everything got fixed all nice and neat.

Yea, I got to what you were refering to later on. Good call, although no glowing hands, but it was close to Jeremy's electric hands.

I never thought of the schizophrenia thing before, but now that you mention it, it does sound like it could have something to do with the name. And despite the annoyance of Schizizoa appearing all the time to do the exact same thing and get away alive, it is kind of cool that whenever it arrives, all the monsters in the area stop fighting the lyoko gang and step aside. As far as monsters go, Shizizoa definately has high status.
Ditto on Sissy's developement, not to mention poor Jimbo's. I hated it that he forgot what he did in the finale, he was just so cool there!

I'm running with the Schizizoa for now though someone else has offered that it might be Schizozoa to keep it in line with the schizophrenia first half. BTW, the Wikipedia article on Code Lyoko is turning into a mess. People left and right trying to update it and someone trying to be cut with what is supposed to be a neutral point of view article. "our heroes this" and "our heroes that".

You'd think that if they could create vehicles for Lyoko, they could AT LEAST give Aelita something to defend herself with. A bat, a shield, a sawed-off shotgun...just have her do something other than submit to the Jellyfish every time she sees it!

I have to remember to put 'watch the 'Garage Kids' pilot' on my list of things to do this weekend.
Anyway, in a stellar week where all five episodes were good, this was the weakest of the bunch... but not by much.
- So the nightmares make sense now... so the elf creature is Mr. Puck, which is the doll they find in this episode in the Hermitage. Hmmm... I'm trying to figure out why Aelita would have memories of this guy. Was he a relative of the family? A similar being like Aelita herself? I'd even go so far as to speculate that Mr. Puck was a previous incarnation/model of Aelita! There's so many ways they can go with this.
- Okay, I can live with repetitive stock footage... I mean, I did in Season 1. But cop-outs are another thing. They didn't show how Jeremy knocked out Aelita at Kadic. They also never showed Jeremy land any physical hit on Odd, and he did land a few. Just a complaint of mine...
- We do go back to more supernaturalistic happenings in this episode too, as XANA's possession of Jeremy gave him high leaping abilities and usage of purple electricity. Still... I love how this show this season has given us an indication that XANA really is stronger than the last time. It's a real sticking point of joy for me.
- Another small complaint, and Thursday's episode had this too. I've noticed at least two scenes apiece (per episode) in which we jump to a new setting weirdly. Don't know if it's quirky editing on the dubbers' end, or the original staff got lazy and forgot to animate in some transition markers/dialogue.
- I also will boo the Jeremy-Lyoko cop-out, because it felt rushed in at the end, so we didn't see what his experience was out. I'm sure we will eventually, but trying to squeeze it into this episode was a no-no.
Despite my complaints, this was still an entertaing episode to end the week, even if it was the worst of the five so far. 7.5 out of 10. 8 out of 10 for Week 1 of Season 2, with "Exploration" my fave, just ahead of "New Order."

I can't think of a single time that someone was actually shown being struck in the Real. Except for Yumi playfully kicking Ulrich. I believe the lead up showed that XANA/Jeremie kicked Aelita, looked like a high roundhouse, but I'll check again.

This season is going to get complicated, fast. Wish I could see one of the original French eps, though! Or get clips of season two's opening and ending sequences. They're uber-spiffy.

WOW!
The threat level is amped way up so far this season. Though I missed the first new ep, the others reveal a much darker tone than last season. Many near misses both with XANA and in the gang's circle (friends, enemies, families, etc). How long can they keep what's going on to themselves AND defend themselves from XANA? A few points:
--I also can't figure out why Aelita can't have a weapon of some sort or at least a shield. Either give her something or explain why she can't have something.
--I don't necessarily want Sissy to be in on what's going on, but I thought it might go that way until this last episode. Now I think it's gone way past that (with Jeremy being possessed) and it may not matter (see above).
--I wanted to see Jeremy on Lyoko more like the others are when they are there some time this season. It was really cool that he did go back, although we did not see it. The theory that their fighting skills on Lyoko make Odd and Ulrich immune to XANA's control might result in Jeremy having to go back later to protect himself and Aelita. It's ironic that last year he wanted to go, now he apparently dispises going. Of course, last season Aelita was only there...
--If anyone caught the last few seconds of the last episode, a major hint seems to be revealed. The dialogue seems to imply that
Mr. Puck may have been Aelita's doll in her past (or past life). My gut feeling is that Aelita may be FH's daughter (?) and may have been virtualized for her safety. How her visions are related to Mr Puck, I'm not sure (past life?).
All and all, quite a week! I'm ready for a lighter episode and with "Saint Valentine's Day" being the next ep, we seem to be getting one. But then again I thought the same thing with "A Great Day".
Best series with new episodes this season by far...

Well, people have already said things I might've wanted to say, like how the scene at the end with Jeremie was funny, but it's a gyp that we didn't get to see him... I always thought it slightly odd that last season the one time he tried to go to Lyoko we saw him as himself, when he was reaching out to Aelita, though I can't remember how she looked in that scene, I suppose it must've been her Lyoko-self. And as for her and Puck looking like elves, actually on Lyoko Aelita always reminded me of Kes from Star Trek: Voyager. and as for why XANA failed to possess Odd or Ulrich, I got the feeling he didn't actually want to possess either of them, that he was specifically trying to get to Jeremie cuz he could actually cause the most damage. Although I do like Odd's suggestion that it had to do with sex appeal...
Also, I have to wonder if the Puck in the vision is real... the thing that interests me most about this is that he looks... well, he has the elvish ears and stuff, but he's drawn in 2-D, plus he's obviously in the real world, with a forest and wolves... but Aelita looks human in this world, right? So how come his appearance doesn't look completely one world or the other, y'know?

So how come his appearance doesn't look completely one world or the other, y'know?Because it's a ruddy vision and it's telling Aelita the location of the doll which in turn housed the key to Franz's diary. He's not really real. It's just a form of visualization, nothing more. Geez, it was confusing enough when he first appeared in the dream and we had no clue who he was or what the hell he was doing in Aelita's dreams.
I still think there's a virtual version of Puck hiding somewhere that's trying to reach the good guys.

Uncle Esper's predictions for Season Two. Either Yumi's new boyfriend or her little brother will go to Lyoko. Maybe both. By the end of the season Sissi will have finally buried the hatchet with the gang and become a friend.
And someone on the show will die.

I wouldn't say past life, per se. My own feeling is that after Aelita was virtualized by Hopper and Hopper disappeared, the supercomputer was somehow shut down and Aelita was put in something like suspended animation. When it was restarted, the reboot did something to Aelita's memory that either erased or blocked her memories of her father, the Hermitage and the real world. Memories that, now that Aelita's been materialized, are just now coming back.
It would be interesting to see if there are any records of an 'Aelita Hopper' in Kadic's archives. I mean, if Franz taught there and Aelita was his daughter, it'd only make sense that she was a student there once upon a time. Unless she was homeschooled.

Yes! First post! :D
-Jeremy's voice has gotten ten times more dorky and ten times more annoying. It's kinda painful to listen to, actually.
Yeah, it is reeking of excessive maturity. As in, a voice actor straining to achieve a teenager's voice, and finding it out of his range.
-Yay, Aelita joins the school! That was what I was hoping for since the end of season one!
And toward the end of one episode I saw, Aelita & Jeremy were holding hands. So now they're a couple. 'Bout time.
And the growing relationship between Aelita & Jeremy. Now if they could just get Jeremy's voice back to what it was in season one......!
