Hey there.

If everyone thought "Unmasked" was a regular Batman Beyond episode -- that's because it was! In fact, "The Call" was supposed to be the big finale for Batman Beyond. I remember reading on the Web about it, and it was shown as the last episode of Batman Beyond, until early that Fall, when it suddenly got switched to the middle of Season 3 (in November sweeps).

So, I choose to believe what I orignally read, that "The Call" was the true last (two) episodes of Batman Beyond. Then it doesn't seem so bad how Batman Beyond 'really' ended at all -- with "The Call", Batman Beyond went out with a bang! :bosko:

I consider Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker to be the ending, then again, there was my DTV plot if you read that...which made the Batman Beyond universe experiance an enourmous change...and basically wrapped it up (you would have to read it to understand) :)

Yup - The Call was supposed to end season three and lead into season four. The episode laid all the groundwork but when WB didn't renew - all was basically scrapped.

Countdown is a crossover episode with The Zeta Project. It has no real place in continuity and can take place anytime after the first Zeta episode, Zeta.

Then this does make the Call the finale, continuity wise, that is.

Continuty wise, The Call is actually the last story. And yes - it does take place after ROTJ. I was told that tROTJ fits right in after King'd Ransom.

Hey - that is a good Christmas present. The second part of THE CALL really didn't make much sense, but it was still a good two parter.
