When I read Joker Jr's Ras Al Ghul post it got me thinking about the BTAS ep's with Ras; How they're Indiana Jones-ish. Then the Red Claw ep's were James Bond-like. It got me thinking; Is Batman the perfect hero for all genres?

Action
Comedy
Detective
Romance
Thriller
Martial arts
Adventure
Spy
Noir
Musical
Road Movie
Horror
Gangster
Sci-fi
Fantasy
Western
Cult
Documentary
plain ol' Drama

Ok, musical and documentary are a streach, but I can see them making good ep's or movies. There are already example of all the others.

Simply put. He's one of the greatest characters ever created. He's outdone Sherlock Holmes, James Bond...In a hundred years, Batman will still be here...just like Dickens...

Yes, he is. And that's one thing BTAS (the original) really demonstrated. Each of those episodes is like a stand-alone film with its own special style, and Batman fits perfectly into each.

Yes, I especially liked the musical genre for Batman shown in Batman Beyond.

I'll have to agree. I think that's a combination of the strength of his character and the skill of the animated team. It's been said many times, but damn, that team had talent!
