The ultamen where clones right. so they had to be cloned from somebody. I just wander if this is a way of bringing some superfriens to the show. like the wander twins ect.because it looks like thats the way the show is heading. If anybody knows anything more than I do post back.

"Utimatum" was one the best episodes of JLU. I loved the tribute to The Wonder Twins, Samurai guy, Apache Chief and Black Vulcan. Even the Hall of Justice was shown at the top of a building.

That episode was too good.:cool:

i think they were genetically engineered, not clones.

about the episode itself, it was good but i didnt think it was that good. there were waaay better episodes.

It didn't make any sense how the "Ultimen" turned evil so easily, they went from cheesey super heros to super villains at the drop of a hat. It was pretty much a decent episode.

For the most part the Ultimen's powers were engineered not cloned. But their were some nods like how Long Shadow's powers were basically the same as Atom Smasher and Giganta's. Juice's were similar but not totally identical to Static's. Shifter and Downpour's mirrored J'onn's morphing ability. Wind Dragon's were similar to Red Tornado but it's an animated robot. They were engineered, give Professor some credit, he only cloned Superman and Supergirl.

All of them were influenced by the Superfirends. They even all have the same powers, ethnicities and similar motifs.

Wind Dragon - Samurai (control wind)
Longshadow - Apache Cheif (alter their size)
Downpour and Shifter - The Wonder Twins (obviously)
Juice - Black Vulcan (control electricity)

Also, Luthor had Superman cloned and Dr. Hamilton cloned Supergirl.

I thought he only cloned Kara? I don't think he had anything to do with Bizarro.Doomsday was created with Superman's DNA as well as Supergirl's was used for Galatea by Cadmus but with the intention to be Superman's superior, whereas Bizarro descended to inferior.
