Where I live, since Father's day in June, the average temperature is 4 to 5 degrees higher than last year.(day after day) It is now September and they are predicting a very warm week....Over all it is much warmer than last year....
...Has anyone else noticed a change, one way or the other in the weather around the contry? This is of interest to us all...
,,, Responces from everywhere around the country, and elsewhere, would be appreciated. I wonder if this is just a Midwest thing, around Chicago, or something around the U.S.A. and the rest of our community in other countries...thanks again for your responces...Stuart

Last year around this time, it reached the lower 80s in the afternoon. This year, it's still in the upper 80s. So, no.

It has been a bit warmer this summer. It was more like an actual summer for the first time in a long while.

Hmm...

It has gotten cooler in the mornings and less rainy overall. I've heard some people say that it's supposed to get real cold this winter. It's Alabama and the part I reside in has some screwy weather too. Two-ish years ago, we had temps in the 10's. Last year around January, we had temp's in the 70-80 range.

The summers here have been cooler and wetter the last couple of years. Of course, cooler just means that it only gets up to the mid 90s, and wetter just means that there are a lot more 30-minute downpours which just make it really humid.

It's gotten much cooler here in Texas in the last week. Summer is beginning to yield to Autumn. (You can actually walk around outside without sweating anymore.)

Are you worried about 'global warming' or something?

Are you worried about 'global warming' or something? To be honest, it is a concern.
....But because the summer has been consistently warmer since mid June in the Chicago area,..
.....I raised the question, because Toonzone has such wide variety of people from so many locations around the country, Canada, and other places too, that I thought I could find out the truth..If it was just a "warmer summer" where I live... (of course that happens) and the rest of the country was more or less normal...
....Or, others may feel that their location was somewhat warmer than usual too..
So I raised this here to find out what others were experiencing...It really is the only way to know the truth, at least for this summer...I hope no one is offended by asking about their weather? It a seems pretty harmless question, and it may help me see beyound my own experience..I hope more people continue to respond..thanks to those who have....
