Need Help with shrinking my images!!!

Can anybody help me? I'm trying to shrink some of the images I've scanned so a)They don't take up a whole entire floppy disk; b) No one will have to click up, down, and sideways to look at whatever art I've posted here at The Drawing Board; and c)I can have an avatar below my name!

Any suggestions out there?

ANY kind of art package on a PC will have a resizse image function - even if it's the default 'paint' package on windows!!
