Yes, I know this may end up being a locked thread...but I am taking the chance.
All of us here watch and read these stories of Comicbook heroes. Well, right now there are real heroes in the disaster area that are risking their lives to save people in the wake of Katrina. These people are putting it on the line to save lives and I just think they should be recognized for what they are doing.
For the people who have been affected or have family members/people they care about in the middle of this mess.....my heart and wishes are with you.
On a small personal note...I know he can't see this but I feel the need to say it.
What he is doing...the whole Search & Rescue helicopter pick ups and from the e-mails he has been able to send...I am glad he is OK and that I am very proud of him...I miss him and hope he comes home OK. I know he is basically in hell at the moment and I miss him too. Those cowards shooting at the rescuers....I can't even think about that now.
That's all I have to say and my thoughts and well wishes are with all affected by this.
