My dad blew his top this evening when he caught me visiting Termite Terrace, again. He lectured me about this being the ONLY website I go to, and how I never visit sites that are important, like math sites. Sooo.... looks like I've been grounded from this website. I don't know how long, but don't expect to here from me... probably for weeks, maybe. Bye.

Doesn't he realize that all work and no play makes Brandon a rebellious and ANGRY person, looking to get into trouble? Would he rather you were wasting time at some sleazy adult site?

On the other hand, he does love you and wants the best for you (how do I know? I'm a Dad too. I have three kids, 16, 11 & 3) so you probably should'nt be too angry with him.

You might bring to his attention that not only is this site FUN, but you are learning something - classical music appreciation, animation, film history and criticism, censorship vs. artistic vision, etc.!

Anyways, good luck - we'll hold your seat for you till you come back :)

Monday night, my co-worker was upset at me, for similar reasons, and threatened to cut my TTTP privileges if we didn't get to go to Georgia later this month. Fortunately, it still looks like we'll get to go, so I'll still get to post.

ouch... tough stuff man! It's better if you have your own PC in your room. Frankly my mom does'nt give a rat's butt if I go on TTTP. Now porn... that's a different story....

P.S. Chuckamuck, what grades are your kids in? I'm in 7th.

Emily (16) is a sophomore in High School
Rebecca (11) is in 5th grade
Ace (Asa) is only 3 - he's being home schooled in classic cartoons:)

The girls should be a grade higher, but they were both born the end of October and didn't meet the May 1st deadline for registration set by our local school board:(

Just get help from Bugs Bunny for your math.

After all, rabbits can multiply very well!

That happened to me once, but not because of the TTTP specifically...just because my grades weren't very good and so my parents wanted to make sure I was spending more time on math...darnit, I hate math worse than anything. I suck at it, I'm in AP English and am great at history, wonderful at art, just fine at science...and yet they've always made me take it at school. I'm taking Trigonometry now. Now when in the world am I going to need to find the cotangent of a right triangle? I want to major in liberal arts, not mathematics. Oh well.

Hey Brandon,

It's too bad that happened. I think you should stand up for your right to be on this forum. Your father has no right to take that away from you and besides, it's not like this is all that you do with your life.

Well, now, realistically speaking, his father DOES have the right to take TTTP away from him. Not only that, but if in fact TTTP IS the only website, he visits regularly, Brandon needs a BIT more variety. This is only one site out of 15-20 I go to on a regular basis. There's a lot of good stuff out there-a lot of garbage too. There are extremely good sites on Shakespeare, poetry, algebra and so on and I suspect that Brandon's dad wants him a bit more well-rounded. Further Deponent Saith Not
