With the show coming back, We can breathe easier at knowing we may have our beloved MIB agents back saving the world, but with the Sequel film... there are changes.

It has been expressed to me that with the way the sequel comes out, and the lack of Agent L (Elle), we may lose our Elle in the upcoming Animated Series.

Now is the time to voice what you loved about MIB, and hopefully it includes Elle.

Elle plays an important role. Shes cool, savvy, funny and a woman in the world of the MIB. We love her, and her style and want to save her.

I will forward messages sent through the mailer on the page I have constructed to who has been in contact with me, if they permit.

I will also post messages with names given (any e-mail addresses will be held for ya) on the page so Fans can unite and share how they enjoy MIB.

Help us. Visit http://members.tripod.com/delia97/id143.htm

THANKS!

And if we loose Elle, we'll also be loosing Agent X, one of my two favorite characters along with Elle. :-( I would like to ask everyone to please write in about these changes before it's too late!

The trouble is, there aren't enough Lasses in Black (LIBS?), and besides L, none of them are field agents (they seem relegated to the costume department and riding desks in MIB West Coast, Hollywood). And they want to nix her? I'll gladly give up X, Zeeltor, the alien with ten million pockets, and a coffee worm to keep her on...even if she has to return to the lab (I'm sure she'd scheme up some way to get back out on the street, and that'd give the series that tense edge).
Besides, who will J semi-lust for with L gone? I loved the way they played off each other in the ep with the somnambulence brainsuckers...and in the Buzzard ep, as he lay on top of her, semidressed: "J...[stroking his cheek]...you're so...heavy."

The show can ditch Zeeltor and all those new characters added in the later seasons (to appease KWB) just to keep Elle. Elle was (and is) one of my favorite characters who gets some of the best lines in. I'd hate to lose her. I hear L will have a cameo in the film, but will still be an agent.

from what I have heard now, the role offered to her was so small, she didn't want to do it

My problem with the Men in Black sequel is that it means the PPG movie is going to get completely pushed under the rug, as it's going to launch on the same day. I'm sure WB would be more concerned for the success of their upcoming animated series on their own network than a Cartoon Network show.

I'd rather see PPG survive MIB2. That's just me though. Knowing WB, a reasonable compromise will never happen.

Wow I hadnt heard a thing about the ppg movie coming out.

As for the cartoon, it's a WB show
BUT

the sequel film is Columbia pictures, not Warner Brothers.

As for the cartoon MIB, im just hoping they dont make a HUGE MISTAKE and ruin it.

I'd rather see them *both* do well. With all the crummy movies coming out, having two of the good ones damage each other seems an inconscionable waste.

Here's hoping one of 'em gets re-schedualed.

I dunno. With MIB I think they're aiming for the 4th of july time and as close to 5 years from the opening of the first MIB as they can get.

MIB 1 opened July 2nd 1997 and they're shooting for July 3rd 2002.

I dunno if theyd reschedule. As for the PPG movie, I hadnt heard boo about it until now. Not even at Corona Productions, have I heard anything

I haven't heard a *whole* lot about it, but the word is that it's gonna include flashbacks to when the Girls first decided to "dedicate their lives to fighting the forces of Evil", and may present similar background information on Mojo Jojo. That second possibility has me particularly intrigued- I've always wondered where Mojo aquired the resources to construct that observatory, and why Townsville let a Supervillain set up shop in the middle of the park. Maybe he struck some kind of permanent-residence deal with that brain-dead Mayor.
